Help 9 1/2 foot monster plant...

Hey guys,

Have a huuuugggee problem.

2 weeks ago, I set my plants into flowering 12/12, and all but 1 were male.

Just happens that the biggest plant was a female, and after cleaning out the others, gave her full room to grow.

Only problem now is, she just wont stop growing! she is about 9 1/2 feet tall, and about 4 1/5 feet wide. Shes taking in about 2 and half gallons of water a day and growing about 3 inches in height a day ( 3 inches in width also).

All over she has new leaves sprouting everywhere and her buds are JUST starting to develop. She seemed to be a slow starter in terms of flowering (took 10 days to show her first hairs), but now she is developing.

Only problem is, my ceiling is at 11 feet, and she has about 1 foot left in which i can maneuver her in without getting burned by the 600 HPS.

How can I stop her from getting any taller without damaging or reducing the nugs she has. She is covered in small nugs all over, on every branch and stem - ive NEVER seen so many on one plant :-?

I have width for her to grow out, but not up! Problem is, she has a whole bunch of nug/hair growths all over the top of her too...

Any help appreciated guys!

Look into LST (low stress training) it's the only thing that really comes to mind, that's one huge plant, hopefully it has a bunch of nodes to produce and isn't just stretching like crazy.

first i would love to see a picture of her. Second start tying her down and getting her to grow sideways. LST her and if done right away you should be able to fix your problem. overall though, that is an awesome problem to have.

ok guys, got some pics,

1st is her from above. Had to get on step ladder - couldnt get all of her in the pic, but about half - she branches out like a giant christmas tree.

2nd is her from about 4ish feet from the bottom, move some of her stems and branches out way so you could get idea of her height. Had to also prop the fan up 2 feet to get enough air movement in the center.

3rd pic, close up of her small tiny little nugs lol, just coming into development.

Sorry I cant get a whole pic from distance, the space is really limited, but at least you get the idea .

you might also be able to see I put a string or two around the center - she keeps falling over bc of the sheer weight. Her roots filled the entire 5 gallon hydro dwc bucket she is in, so im debating to transplant to a 10 gallon or not.

If i do, ill obviously have to move her out, that way i can also take some distance pics.

Also i have NO idea what strain she is....she spawned from some schwag seed

Got some WW coming later next week, at this rate they wont have any space left

Looks like your growing a plant from a F2 generation of a F1 Sativa/Indica to me and you have found a quite Sativa dominant plant, in most of its traits.

That plant is going to keep growing, for a little while yet i suspect, so your going to need to emply some quite serious training.

As she is starting to flower, you do not want to be cutting her now and I would suggest you strart to train the side branches and main stem. Get some strings and start pulling her over if you can to get the height down.

Also, stop feeding her much Nitrogen, lower the amount you feed a lot..and try to lower the amount of N you feed her to the minimum.

Bagseed can be good fun, produce nice smoke and can be excellent for developing your skills. Looks like your going to learn the training lesson with this one! hehe..

Have fun, enjoy!
