Get some potting soil. Get some small nursery pots or plastic cups. Make sure they have drain holes on the bottom. Put seed in soil about 5 mm deep. Give it enough water to make the soil wet. Keep the soil wet but don't soak it. Wait for seed to sprout. Should take 3 - 4 days if the seeds are viable. Good luck.

thank you so much for the advice, being a newbie not knowing anyone absolutely any advice goes a long way, as for lighting i am currently using a red/blue 225 led pannel should i change over to something like a T5 or similar? at the moment this is the growing medium i use can it be used as potting soil? sorry to bombard you with questions? you seem like you know what you are talking about.

If you have all that stuff in the first photo use one of the CFL's for starting your seeds.

That growing medium is coco which is inert and will need a nutrient solution to be used with it. It's meant to be treated more like hydro. You need to mix up nutes right away and measure pH. If you get a decent soil all you have to do is add water for the first few weeks. That will give you time to do some more research, ask questions, and learn what you need to learn to be a successful grower.

Get some decent potting soil to start out with for now until you've grown a plant or two. You should be able to find a decent organic potting mix somewhere. You should be able to find something organic at Bunnings or a better place like a garden center.

Use this coco mix in trays to start your seeds instead of rockwool cubes. Youll have a much better time.

i have not had the chance to change the red/blue leds to the Cfl's as i did not get the time tho 3 days into planting a few sprouted seeds i have just noticed they have begun to sprout you may need to zoom into the pic for a better look tho im not sure what i should be doing next, do i just continue with store bought distilled water or?

After the first set of leaves as in real leaves water with 1/3 to 1/2 solution of Miracle grow or what ever you bought as long as its fertilizer , I Use rain water that is at room temp or let tap water sit for 24 hours. Support and lightly cover with plastic wrap, but allow some air flow and keep them from drying out, test by weight or touch for moisture, air flow is good.
youtube your ? too

The seeds are living off the stored hormones in the seed shell right now. At the moment just add mycorrhizae and humate, in a couple of days add very light fertilizer. I don't know what others might say but they are going to need to be separated next week, its a jungle in that pot. Get some Horticultural sand it will ade in holding the soil to the root when you separate. Use clean sand. mycorrhizae will help heal torn roots. Buy mycorriza that mixes in non tap water. It first feeds off of humates, then organic matter then feeds the plant because it lives inside the roots, this how nature feeds a plant. It's mushrooms feeding plants

Do yourself a huge favour, and perform a whole bunch of research. Start here: https://www.growweedeasy.com/

For nutrients, all I use is General Hydroponics three-part solution, and absolutely nothing else. I perceive any products with "magic" or "monsta" or any other sales gimmick words to be snake oil, and completely unnecessary.

LOL you bought all that stuff, they look to be all good supplements, just follow directions. If you bought it in a store next time ask for mycorrhizae and humate.
If you grow all those seedlings you will be set for life. ️

the only nutrient i have from general hydroponics is the rapid root start as you can see in the pic, in my local stores its not easy finding the right products as i live in Sydney it is not yet legal tho i will definitely follow your advice and stick to general hydro as i have heard a lot of good things about them. basically all the research i do is thru you tube and thru here. tho i will check out the link suggested.

hopefully it works out well i'm gonna chuck in the CFL's in my larger tent i still gotta set up the carbon filter there and everything the tent you are currently looking at im just trying to use for propagation it has an exhaust fan which im contemplating weather or not to connect up since its outside and the temp here is usually 28', tho i will definately move onto general hydroponics in terms of nutrients it seems a lot safer/dummy proof lmao luckily i can order it thru ebay haha
