help a newbie....another "is it ready to harvest" for Seedsman Northern Lights Auto

Here's the plant today, I had looked at several grow diaries for Seedsman NL auto and the leaves near the buds were all frosty, but mine are not. At the same time it looks like the pistils are turning....this is the largest main stalk/cola....

1. Does it look ready? Why or why not?

2. Thoughts on why there's no trichs on the leaves? just a weird atypical pheno maybe? I mean there are a few there for sure, but it looks pretty bare compared to some of the frosty photos I'd seen elsewhere (I THINK at least)

3. Thank you all, in advance. Harvested a fairly runty bubblegum thanks to the help here, and it may have been underwhelming in yield (like 0.5 oz) it was MUCH smoother than the weed I'm used to buying--is that also a typical thing, thast home-grown weed with a bit more care in drying/curing is much smoother? By the way this is Day 85 from planting seed, which seems crazy-long but it's healthy and even the pistils that did turn only started in the last couple days....

#2 Patients....kinda like Fight Club.

Ok forget seed you passed that test, how long since it first started shooting hairs? That’s the count you go by for flower, you can veg a plant (if not auto) from zero to infinity. I’ve had mothers go 4 years.

Next so far so good plant looks healthy with nice NL bud shape and great hairs....

It will be ready in about 3 more weeks. Autos typically take 90-110 days

If I count from the day I seed I would put about 8 weeks before flip then another 8-10 weeks on top. That’s a lot of days

Man , its been a noob pandemic around here lately ....

But seriously OP .... that plant has weeks to go ... watch the nitrogen ( dark leaf ) give the bloom nutes instead. Let flowers bulk , pistils color off ... it will be much more impressive a few weeks from now !

Ok...thank you all.

1. 32x32 tent with a 7-gal pot i had grown 2 autos in...bubblegum got cut awhile back. I know this isn’t proper form, but I rushed the first grow and tried to get two plants in at the same time

2. Under 2 led lights each SUPPOSED to be solid for at least a 12”x12” grow...both like 60w led but dont have the packing info right now.

3. Soil grow w nutes as needed

4. It IS an auto, a seedsman freebie

again, thank you guys, I had thought that I had seen something about harvesting when like 30% of the pistils had started to turn brown, Looks like I’ve got plenty of time to hold tight yet

Nah, pistils should be almost all orange/brown. 120w of led is on the low end, another 60-120 would be an improvement. I am setting up a second smaller tent now- its a 3x3 with a 315w CMH

I suspect the wattage is low in a perfect world....My initial intent was to use it just to pop seeds and do some cloning, since I didn’t want to wait until Midsummer I jumped the gun and started a grow in January. I like to do things right but sometimes impatience gets the better of me, and sometimes I’m just a cheap fuck.

Like i said though, you guys are are awesome.

A friend of mine started his outdoor grow in December. He takes a full trash bag of cuttings off them every week..... Dont think he will be doing that again.

When you can I would suggest gen 2 crees or 3528 strips until you can go full dollar. Lights make a yield.
