Got any suggestions for the budget light crees?
Sad but rue. A whole lot of reading and watching small builders bash eachother on video. Then play we bay for a weeks. I got 800W of knock offs for under $200 W/ drivers. Actual max draw almost 950 at my outlet. No fixture or frame, wiring or connectors. But easier than it sounds.

Man , its been a noob pandemic around here lately ....

But seriously OP .... that plant has weeks to go ... watch the nitrogen ( dark leaf ) give the bloom nutes instead. Let flowers bulk , pistils color off ... it will be much more impressive a few weeks from now !
In the noob forum?lol

So I have a follow-up question now: it seems people talk about harvesting entire plants but right now the northern lights main cola is probably 75% brown and receeding pistils but A lot of the other buds every pistil is white and sticking straight out, do you guys do staggered harvest sometimes? It seems like if I wait for the smaller buds the main color will be way over mature, and if I harvest when the main color is ready everybody else is going to be pretty green yet

Some people do stagger their harvests. I lack the patience and always have other plants that need the tent space, so I always take the whole plant down myself.

Just fyi, I'm growing an NL Auto from Seedsman right now as well and am actually almost day to day in step with you. I think today is day 98 and I'm pretty sure I've got a couple weeks left at least. This pic is from a couple days ago.20200425_223744.jpg

Ok so you guys were awesome help last time. Here are actual, not-awesome photos of trichs, from a sweet critical auto. Thing is, i am new enough i cant tell if this is “milky” and ready or clear and a touch hazy due to light refraction, etc...

photo through 30x loup and iphone, zoomed in about to 3/4 max. Can you guys say much from these pics?

Got any pics of the whole plant? Or a few of the actual colas? I actually find that easier to assess then close ups of trichs.

Also, how did you do with that Seedsman NL? I wound up chopping mine at 117 days and it probably could have gone longer. Nice yield for an auto though.

Nl i did not weigh but looked to be 1-1.5 oz.

Fiven i think my light may be a bit under-powered and i made a newb mistake of cramming a bubblegum and the nl in one 7-gal pot i was happy w what i got.

this is a 00 sweet critical auto, have a chocolate skunk auto in tent also both in 3-gal fabric pots.

thank you for the help, btw, gentleman

Anytime man.

Honestly I wouldn't drop that plant for a couple weeks myself. There's a lot of white pistils still and it looks to me like it still has some swelling to do.

Then those are gonna be some dense-ass buds compared to the nl; they are already for the main ones thumb-thick and significantly more solid than the nl.

Haha don't read to much into a little thumbs up brother. I was approving of your harvest. Then I started to comment, the dog had to go out, so I rolled a joint, walked the dog/got stoned, came back and finished replying

My NL was really fluffy too actually. I harvested a Fruity Widow at the same time and it's night and day. You could break a window with the widow!

The nl was pretty fluffy, yeah....I don’t have much of a reference point at this time but the bubblegum was also really light, lighter than the northern lights but I think we picked that one way early and wonder what it would’ve been if we had left it longer. Still, the choc skunk looks a lot like the nl: longer, thinner buds. The sweet critical, from the start, wanted to make short, wide “gumdrop buds”

next ups will be a gg4 fem in a sog grow and a few outdoors including seedsmans white widow fem, frisian duck, and alaska purple fem
