Temps run 68-80 lights off to lights on. Water when soil is dry 7.2< ph. 18 hrs on 6 hrs off, 16 inches above canopy. Leaves are dark green and healthy looking just feel dry to touch. What could
be the problem?

I knew it. That's the cause of dry, almost wrinkled texture. Letting tap wager sit out is actually no good. Chlorine does evaporate but so does the h2o. As the water evaporates the chloramine and other chems that do not evaporate or take longer to evaporate. become more and more concentrate.

Better to aerate water with an air pump and air stones and keep a lid on the bucket. That rids of chems quicker and puts oxygen in the water. Buffers ph too.

Light and heat should not cause that. . Ive had plants under a 1000 at 85+ degrees at a foot away and that never happened to my leaves.

Thanks for that. That's exactly how mine is, I'm thinking of adding salt to the next water and see if that helps it

Oooh no salt. Salt bad. Only acceptable salt is epsom salt. Aerating tap ware is ok its what's I do. Keep a lid on it sonit does not evaporate.

I use tap water, and I just set it out for 24 hours before I use it, it has chelated minerals in it like Iron, Calcium, and so on that your plant will use anyhow...BUT...it looks like you have water on the leaves and this will act as a magnifier on those leaves and burn them and try to get that PH around 6.6 +/- .1 cuz 7.2 is locking out nutes it needs...good luck and welcome to RIU

EDIT: Like hyroot said only epsom salts and only about a teaspoon per gallon of water and mix well.

Okay so I'm starting the 3rd week and gave it some fox farm grow big in half gallon of water ph at 6.8, my leaves are still curling upwards with light 12-16 inches above canopy and my leaves feel dry tto the touch on bottom but everything is still dark green and growing. Temps stay at 68 lights off and 79 lights on. Should I do a small flush on next watering with just distilled water to see if it's a nute lock out?

image.jpgimage.jpg Just curious I fed my plant some ff grow big in a half gallon of ph 6.8 water I've still got some leaves on bottom that feel dry to touch and the leaves are still curled up with light 12-16 inches away temps 68-80 lights off to lights on. Any reason for the leaves to curl or am I just paranoid. When should I switch to flower nutes on day 27 from seed or day 23 from above soil I've got preflower pistils showing up.
