No sprays, not crispy or soggy, doesn't come off when rubbed. Plant is the smallest. Under a foot so if it had to be killed no biggie. No signs of black stuff on others

If it is a fungus would the bud be safe to smoke and would it be a risk to other plants not even a foot away

Doesn't look like mold or another fungal issue. Looks more like a discoloration of the leaf tissue caused possibly by an imbalance of minerals in a pocket of the growing medium otherwise known as a hot spot. If you're worried about it and I see no reason why you should be then pinch that growing tip back and watch the new growth that forms from that area.
Any fungal problems have to be arrested immediately bc spores spread like crazy and can destroy your whole crop. Infected plants can't be smoked nor can they be harvested for hash. If it was a fungus you would need to cut away all infected areas and discard the material. The plants can be treated with various fungicides if still in veg but not in flower. You don't want to smoke chemicals. There are natural remedies for fungus also but that's another thread altogether.

Thank you for the info. Is there anything I should look for over the next week(s) like the black color spreading etc. It has been quite cold (50°f - 60°f) and wet too idk if that could be related.
Are there any other signs that could rule out fungus?

Mold loves cool wet to thrive. But also cold like that will lock out some minerals like Phosphorus. It isn't available for absorption in cold. When P is locked out the leaf will turn purplish but black is close enough that I think it could be a cold issue.
If it were me and to rule out fungus I would pinch back that growing tip. Better safe than sorry.

Bagseed. Strain could be anything from fire dro/headies to plain ol schwag.

I'll post pics of the whole "crop" tomorrow.

My profile pic is one of them

Im gonna agree with dannyboy, it may be a phosphorus deficiency. It can happen during cold weather but from what I read it occurs in sub 50F. Or your strain can be sensitive to temps.

It is outside......How cold at night? It very well could be a bit of P def. outside in the colder nights.. K could and likely is at play too.

I see that exact thing with high K too......Danny has the "pocket" of nutrient/minerals thing right! Sometimes it grows out and sometimes if it's too much period it can get worse until it has used enough to lower the concentration levels down.
If it does grow through it. I would expect some coloring to be expressed pretty hard too......Purple usually...This happens indoor with the K thing too!

BUT, it's NOT a mold.
