Help! bottom leaves are turning yellow

This is my first time growing and the bottom leaves are turning yellow. Not the first set that naturally dies off but the next set. I have heard not to clip these because they are important in the flowering process. Can someone please tell me what I should be doing?

How old are the plants? Do you ph test? Adding ferts? What strength?

She's about 10 weeks old and only grew about 10" or so. I have just been using straight potting soil, watering when needed, and light 18-4. I have another one growing same age, with the same method and its growing beautifully, but used a different strand. Not quite sure what they are though haha I just know that they came from headie nugg.

you should be reading the faq's instead of starting a thread in every forum on this site.

10 weeks and only 10"??? and how is ur light on 18/4????

is the plant droopy at all? if so then it might be overwatered. When you leave a plant overwatered it will cause the roots to lockout any nutes to the plant...that is what will cause the yellowing. DO NOT FEED ANY NUTES until you get the overwater situation taken care of.

If they ARE NOT overwatered then yeah U just need a nice dosage of nitrogen to get you over the hump

and your right, do NOT clip them when they are this young UNLESS the leaf is more than 50% brown..NOT YELLOW but BROWN.

Like the other members said read the FAQ...probably nitrogen deficiency if it's the bottom leaves...gotta do your part, adios man

Are you using soil? Im having this same problem, its nute burn....You can have a defficiancy because you Overdosed on a nute...Flush with clean phed water and let soil dry before watering again...Resume feeding with less nutes, if problem persists then adress the defficiancy problem....ima noob but i bet this helps..

i have the same problem, my leaves are turning yellow on the bottom. this is my first time growing and i havent used any fertilizers or anything . just water. can someone please help me get on the right road and tell me what i should use.

Ph problem do you have any spots on the fan leaves?
