Hi Guys,

First time grower. I am fairly sure I have Bud rot. There are blackish very soft mushy areas forming on some of my buds. The last 2 days it has rained constantly and it is only suppose to be 60-75 degrees the next few days with clouds and rain.

What should I do?????!!! I was gonna harvest around October 8 so Im not harvesting that early.

Please help!!!!! Any solutions???

I do have some mold but whatI thought was mold was rot due to worms.

The weather here has not been good for dense outdoor buds though. 5 inches of rain, low temps...urg

what ashame looks like nice bud too so are you just picking off the infected areas and leaving the rest to grow for another week or so? I had the same thing happen to mine after all that dam rain. was doing so good till the rain came, but mine doesn't look as bad as ur girl. Good luck keep us posted

Remember, rot can also be from a caterpillar chewing a main branch causing the bud t die off. The rain probably sped up the process.

It is from catapillars. Those fuckers hit a lot of buds. They ruin buds. But not the whole bud. I mean Im pissed but it could definitely be worse. I am gonna wait till Saturday or Sunday and then harvest. If the bugs get bad Ill harvest before Saturday.

Its weird. I find very very few catapillars on the plant and I look hard. I think they get eaten very shortly after being born and making it to the surface. I have a fairly healthy garden with a fair amount of wasps and preying mantis. I read this helps.
