help!!!!! budding problem :[[

okay so i vegged my plant for about a month and a week. switched to 12/12 it was doing fine white hairs everywhere looked like it was going to bud. well now its look exactly the same like since then. some of the hairs have turned brown. and it doesnt seem to be growing at all. someone please help me out. thanks

how much time with 12/12 cycle?days? I am on my first grow, But pay much attention to the plant's Ph and nutes..Pic's would be helpful for you.

lol alright my bad. i vegged for about a month an a half. went to 12/12 and it was going good. im not using any nutes. just straight potting soil. i have 5 cfls 2 6500k and 3 2700k. it looked good. was gonna start to bud but then all the leaves started becomin droopy and it hasnt grown at all. now all the white pistols or whatever are turning brown. is my plant like dead. should i restart lol thanks guys.

maybe ph in water too high, or too much nutes, or just too much water all together(over/under watering big rook mistake)

If the lower leaves are yellowed as well as the entire plant being droopy, then you might have yourself an over-watering issue.

BUT, you also said that this plant is about 45 days old and has never gotten any nutrients, which may also be the problem.

Try letting your plant dry out a bit, then give it a half strength dose of a nutrients with a high amount of P on the N-P-K scale.

Pictures would really help, even if from a crappy cell phone camera!

mine showed pistils for like almost 2 weeks before buds started to grow. but once the buds started to show up, they showed up everywhere and have been growing a lot each day. sounds to me like a nute deficiency. or a lack of water. mine started to droop really bad and i thought i had over watereed it, so i stopped and it got worse, then i drenched it in water and nutes one day and within a matter of hours it perked up and looked good as new...little heat stress though but its not too bad. check my journal


also you will want to get more 2700K bulbs. i have 6 2700K bulbs and 2 6500K. the 6500K is used only as additional side lighting and i have then further away than the 2700k's

hey thanks guys. ill get some more lights ha. about how much water should i use when i water. just enough so the top soil is wet about an inch deep?

until their is runoff out the bottom of the pot, and only water when the top is dry

so pretty much soak it? is this gonna fuck up my plant if i do that now. lol.

Yes. once a week (more or less), when soil is dry. Put you finger in it 1" or 2" deep.
Plants need wet/dry cycle. In Dry she bread air for yours roots and prevent fungus in soil and roots rot.
When soil its well dry and plants get thirsty (fan leaves bend down) then you soak the soil "until their is runoff out the bottom of the pot" like conepuller say, this is for ensure even wet all soil.
Again, plants need Wet/Dry cycle for best result an health.

But here's the question..... What do you think YOU would look like with having gotten ZERO nutrients for the past 45 days?... No food, nothing but straight water! You would probably get droopy and quit growing too don't ya think? lol, you need some nutes dog! You can get a flower and veg nute, that will last you for more than 10 grows for under $15 at pretty much any hardware store like Home De-pot or lows. 'Miracle Grow All Purpose Plant Food' for veg <$7 - 'Miracle Grow Bloom Booster' for flower <$6 just don't use as much as they SAY to use, and you'll be good. MG is the ONLY nutrient I have EVER used.....

what is your set up. Got a fan blowing on it. Ventilation of any kind. Cant really say what it is without knowing that stuff. It does need nutes though that is for sure but have seen plants go droopy from no venting.

Yeah dude get yourself some nutes. Vegging for 2 whole months without nutes and then flowering without nutes...they're hungry man
