Hello I have seen pictures of people using a six plug exstention cord to power maybe 2 or 3 cfl lights and I was hoping someone would give me a few pointers on how to do this n please tell what all I will need
they make adapters that plug the bulb straight into a socket...like the curly circle thing you screw the bulb into just has a plug on the back and you just plug them into the socket...I think Home Depot has them. So no engineering needed...lol
they come with two wires. Get a 50 cent extension cord and cut the end off, twist the two wires from the extension cord to the two wires on the light and then plug it in. About as basic as you can get. Of course use wire nuts or some electrical tape over the bare wire ends.
Here's a picture - The wire nuts connect the light with just a cheap extension cord with the end cut off. Plugs into any socket.
