Help - building drain from saucers to bucket

Hey, I'm trying to put together a decent draining option for my lil grow.. but I don't know the names pieces I'm looking for exactly... can anyone help? =D
Links would be awesome..
Also any other ideas welcome

----------------------

I have my plants raised like 20inches on breathable tables with lots of holes.. and I just want to drain the excess water from each plant/planter to my bucket for easy disposal.

I did find a video where someone is doing exactly what I have in mind.. but can anyone help with the pieces I need?

1) So, I would get 12 inch saucers for each plant. (only 3 mature plants will need this intense flushing at a time)
http://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-HGS12-Clear-12-Inch-Saucer/dp/B0055F5WC6/

I would then drill a hole in the bottom of each one

2) Then insert bulkhead fitting into hole? (can anyone help me find the right ones)
Would I also need some kind of "Elbow" type thing?

3) Insert tubing into bulkhead hole

---------------

I'm also considering just drilling a hole in the saucers and letting the water pour/drip down directly into the bucket (but maybe this would cause a mess?)
Which sounds most reasonable?

Thanks!

GooGle "pipe fittings" look at the images
If you have a Menards Store they have a big section of PVC fittings, you'll be able to piece something together there no problem.

Good Luck on Your Grow
