Next the defence you are choosing to pursue (the medical condition) could be a significant one if you can back it up peoperly. I'd start looking at THAT angle right now. Doctors, paperwork in relation to diagnosis and treatment etc.

cheers mr black, yes i have a doctors appointment tomorrow, and they know of my condition as ive suffered epilepsy for years, im gonna speak to a few health and head folk about this because I really do need help at the minute not just due to this case, i was all ready very much depressed and suffering bad after my dads death, my quiet life with my own personal stash was the only thing that kept me seine, without it and now the trauma and worries of this situation has just pushed me over the edge. im to scared to leave my house or go to sleep encase of seizures or panic attacks am messed up lyk. The fact its all the gods augustness truth I wont find it hard explaining in detail to any specialist exactly what happens to me and how the weed helps every single symptom as well as the after effects, also the cruel situation this whole ordeal is making me suffer... what kind of justice system prevents a person with an illness innocently medicating himself with a herb, a cant believe the masses dont see thru this fabricated law...

Dont hang yourself, at 00.01am tommorow 24/1/12 the new sentencing guidelines are being revealed, visit the CLEAR website (uk political party for the legalisation of cannabis) its there main headline today that they expect the sentencing for medicinal use and personal (no dealing growth) to be reduced severely.

I dont want to say it man, but maybe a friend can toke you up. Not the best legal advice, but if you are hurting like you say you are, medicate. Maybe it will be you fighting your case to switch the tides for others. It really only takes 1 person standing up and refusing to accept no for an answer.

There is a chemically Identicle version of Cannabis made by GW pharma under UK goverment License its called Sativex, I know it is available for prescription in England but im not sure if its available in Scotland. They say it is just thc and cbd but does in fact contain all the same compounds of Cannabis delivered in a hand held vapour form much like the nicotine infusions.

If it was me I would book an appointment with your consultant neurologist and explain your situation. I don't know if you have talked with your neurologist about using cannabis as supplemental to your meds in the past but my neurologist actually suggested it to me and like you, I have been fit free since using for this purpose.



Make sure you sleep well and if not, make a nice strong herbal horlics to get you off to sleep.

cheers batf1nk, thats exactly how it feels like theyv sanctioned me to my home, when i was younger afore i discovered the magic of weed i had a good couple of near misses of being killed due to my fits, i was humiliated on buses on trains, people stole things of me while i was on the ground out of it, people used to take the piss out me for it... at a young age i turned to drink for a short period as i thot when i was drunk i would never be in the state of mind to have a fit.. however never realised i would pay for the drink session a couple of days later with a grand mal fit and end up in hospital wi the whole depression n that, there are spots all over edinburgh i will not go as they are spots wher i have had bad fits and they remind me and trigger more.. even speaking aboot it is making my heart beat faster.. when i discovered weed it gave me a new life, i never ever feel jumpy (as i call it) when im stoned i could walk all over and not think about it, same it was such an aid to the muscle pains after spasms which im suffering now,, this is a cruel punishment in its self as somebody said thats exactly how i feel...

thanks again tho folks i know i sound like a rite depressant, im usually such a happy person that loves life and the world, yous are the only folk im getting any kind of comfort from at the minute.. makes me so glad to know theres so many folk like my self in the world.

Jock read my first post, Im sure it will make you feel better, The CLEAR party leader did speak to the commitee and stated he felt very encouraged by the feedback he recieved.

cheers gonna hav a look at that now, and i know a shop wher i used to buy that spice stuff at one point i mite ask if theres anything alternative,,,, all av got just noo is chamomile tea.. im a bit of a hypochondriac with how it mite effect the epi..

as for fighting the case LSDreamer i just want ti stay oot jail at minute thats all a want.. but i do know a bit boot politics, and il be writing letters to the first minister, the justice secretary, health secretary and everybody i can after this to shame whats being done to me its just wrong, il research hundreds of stuff aboot it, the hemp economy cover up that famous page (modern uses for the hemp plant) any MSP who is supposed to care about the country and its echonomy cant ignore that info... but no doupt many people try this..

yi sure did, been hearing this on the radio all morning deffo cheered me up like, hope it applys to me like, surely if my case is a week before these come into action, a judge is still gonna look at my case the same as they would after 27th,

been reading all this like, i very much hope this is the case for me, this is gonna be the longest couple of weeks of ma life like but every days feeling more confident thanks to yous lot,

does anybody know if this applies to the uk in general or just england and Wales as a think oor law is slightly diff , but still even if it is ad imagine it would look stupid for scottish courts to jail me when folk far deeper in it across the border are sentenced less.??

Alright Jock, upon further investigation this is just for English and Welsh courts im sorry to say, but the sentencing guidelines for Scotland are currently being finalised by the Scottish justice system, but as you say it would be quite ridiculous if you were to be treated much differently, you will have to discuss with your lawyer the circumstances, but I can only see this helping you as now if Im reading it correctly you would (if in England) be classed as a low level 4 catagory which would at worst hold a fine and community service, added to that as a medical user you could also appeal for a 20%reduction in sentence due to Medical Mitigation, you are a British Citizen after all and if mistreated I would definately be playing the Human Rights and UK equality card if I were you!
I still wish you luck but dont think you will need it as I have to believe that you will not be harshly treated, it is rare to see a custodial sentence for such trivial amounts with no evidence of dealing, add to that your personal circumstances and I think you will be OK.

Anyone else reading be sure to visit either the CLEAR website or the goverment E-Petitions and add your name to the 17000+who have already signed up to the legalise petition, we need 100000 signatures to get it into parlament and were falling way short at the moment.

went to see lawyer today, and as expected he didn't say much other than we won't know nothing till the court date, and the only legal advice he can giv is to co-operate with everything they tell me to do...

ive decided the fact that if jail is the situation, i will lose my flat and pretty much everything else ti the point av nout else ti loose, girlfriends say they stand by and wait but im a man of the world and realise this is rubbish lol, so im gonna make use of the situation nd become political using the only weapon available,,, i will hunger strike in protest of a breach of my human rights and against the fabricated law and punishment of a victimless crime.. exposing the fact they are creating and torturing a victim, in its self a crime towards me.

if they are willing to let me become seriously ill thru starvation and lack of my epi medication then the shame will be revealed... (also learned that they can not force feed u as long as your psychologically capable of making decisions.)

im planning on writing a number of letters including documents on me and my illness, cannabis and how it helps my illness, and why i chose to do what i done, ill address the letters to folk such as first minsiter, justice minister, health minister, news papers, media... it will also inform them im hunger striking in protest of the above. ill give the letters to my brother and instruct him to post them should a get jailed.

im seriously in a state of mind right now where im very much willing to carry this thru if the worst comes to the worst, im preparing letters well in advance..

does anybody have any ideas how id be able to publicise ma actions or gain extra support anything ???

Now, having said that, being a man of the world, and like you, a fighter, you may be the voice of a new movement and blow the lid off this thing for good. You don't have much else going on; why not try to be a champion for the cause? I like your gumption and tenacity. If I were in your shoes, I would fight too. What's the worst that could happen? You definitely need media attention. Contact your local broadcasters first and see what kidn of response you get. A mediaclly ill man from the flats, being harrassed by the police for a few plants thats that help his condition (medically proven and supported in other parts of the world) makes a good story. Having said that, make sure they are on board, or you will just end up pissing off the law and they WILL make an example of you. Lay low, or shoot for the moon, but if it's the latter, make sure the media is on your side. THEY have power.

Deffo mate am getting over the shock noo and realising im going thru all this stress and worry for something completely harmless im being tortured and punished... its only right i fight it whatever the outcome, Im Laying low for the minute but researching hard and the more i do the more im seeing the absolute lies and fabrication of this justice system and law over this.. im a strong follower of Scottish politics aware of how it all works, the present talks are about a devolved scotland and the ability to make decisions for ourselfs using oor own natural resources, the nationalists of scotland are for ever exposing the fabricated laws made up by westminster to cover up illegal government profiting and activities, both the scottish and english races are brainwashed at every angle for the sake of big business names and profit... it would be interesting to see what the gov and most importantly the people had to say when faced with the economical capabilities and power of the hemp plant on a mass scale (the secrets the public are not told about.) the worlds on the brink of waking up to this and I see myself as in a perfect position to preach for it. and like a said ad hav nout ti loose. Edinburghs nout more than a big village the word would be easy to spread.

Im laying low just now to see my outcome and dnt want to temp ma fate if im not jailed ill still fight for this jst in more of a political scale over the facts of what theyv put me thru and the fact ill have a big dirty tag on my name and off course quizzing why they are always moaning aboot natural resources yet ignoring hemp,

however if i am jailed then the only life i have will be behind bars which is no life to me, so i will absolutely devote that life to this movement and hunger strike.

A big part of me has taken all your advice and realises deep doon its very unlikely ill be jailed however the awkward anxiety cursed soul that I am means ill constantly dread the worst,, i see this plan as a kind of personal nuclear defence.
