Help! Cal/mag defficiency or leaf rust fungus?? 50 plant in 4x8 Sea of green

Hello everyone, i am currently growing 50x 2gallon in a 4x8 grow tent, Melon gum strain. x4 Mars hydro TSL 2000
I use tap water which is at 480PPM ( i know its very hard water but with 50plants i dont have much other choice right now than to use tap water) i let it air out for 48hrs+.

They are in Promix HP (peat moss soil) , Feeding the General hydroponic flora trio i will include the schedule i use in the photos.
For the first 2 week i used tap water480ppm and the Flora trio schedule without cal/mag. only phed water between 2 feedings.
Note that since they are in a grow tent and i dont have a flood table when i feed there is no runoff. !
Ph is always 5.7-6.2
Humidity at 40% (for the first 2 weeks at nights the humidity was sometime 60-70% i got my humidifier later than i expected)

I got them on may 1st they were clones, they were doing wonderful until about the 14th may when i started to notice some brown spots i googled and thought it was a cal/mag deficiency so i bought General hydroponics Calimagic on the 14 i fed em the flora trio+cal mag.
Few days later i noticed the brown spots were starting to appear on more and more plants even so i fed cal mag... I then started to think it might be a salt built up which create a nutrient lockout so my calmag cannot be ate up.

So i went and flushed ALL of them the first runoffs were at about 1500-1800ppm 6.0PH... I am flushing with 500pm tap water so the lowest i could get them to was 700-800ppm. + i did a light defoliation and removed all brown infected leafs
((i know flushing with 500pm water isnt optimal but with 50plants i do not have a RO system so i must use the tap water...!!!))
I then fed my normal flora trio mix +cal mag at 6ph.
5 days later the browning is still spreading....
I am now wondering since the first 2 weeks at night my humidity was super high 60-70% and air circulation wasnt very good maybe the problem is actually Leaf Rust fungus and not cal/mag defficiency neither a lockout?

They are now on 20days of veg
I just fed them the flora trio + cal mag at 5.8ph the runoff was at 6-6.1ph, 1000ppm

I Grew before with the same place hard water and i didnt got this problem ...

Thank you for your time... I need more opinions before i go ahead and spray fungicide to get rid of Rust leaf fungus...!

Can you wipe it off? If not, it's unlikely that it's mold. If not, I suggest raisng that feed. 5.7 isn't what you want to put into a soil that's Peat. Peat already breaks down and become acidic as it is. My Peat soil went from high 6's to low 5's in less than 2 months and caused multiple deficiencies. Get those nutes up to 6.5.

What King said....

soil-ph-chart-marijuana.jpg

Soil. @6.5 should help plants with uptake of P Ca and Mg.

I see Ca and some Mg def. in pics.
Possibly deficient due to PH.

6.0 is what us coco heads run.

Thanks so much to King and Tint, This makes so much sense... i had the PH chart for hydroponics which 5.8 was the optimal i read before peat moss needs to be treated more like hydroponic medium than soil so i thought 5.8 was the optimal....

Yesterday i fed em all at 5.8ph with the flora trio + calmag before reading your replys... This morning i fed 1 plant at 6.5ph with floratrio+calmag to see the runoff PH and it was at 6.05PH and i gave 6.5ph so the ph in the medium must currently be at like 5.7.-5.8...

Should i feed em 6.7ph water today to increase the ph in the medium at about 6.1-6.2 and next feeding in 3-4days ill give 6.5ph so within a week the ph will be balanced back to 6.2-6.5?

I am currently 21days into veg I want to flip into flowering ASAP i just want to get the calmag deficiency solved before flipping to flowering.. !
thank you!!!!

Try to find what others are doing with Promix HP for nutes. Ec/ppm and Ph info. How often, etc.

As I have no experience with Promix.

Some ratio info...

Yay ! =D

I fed all my plants with 6.8ph water to level up the ph which was at about 5.7 the runoff was about 6.25PH
my plants have stopped having calmag rust leafs now =D all healthy now the PH was really the problem...
i will always feed 6.4ph as of now
I just flipped all of them 2 days ago ! I will post a photo update soon !

** UPDATE **
Hey guys!! I am currently 3 weeks into Flowering and the calmag problem just came back.. I always feed at about 6.6PH.. My runoff is currently 6.1ph which makes me have calmag uptake problems... Should i start feeding them at 6.9ph so it balances out to about 6.5? I always read that the recommended PH for weed was 5.5-6.5 i am wondering if feeding 6.9 would be fine... Thank you for your time =D cant wait for the harvest! I am still running the Floratrio + Calmag and i added Big Bud and Bud candy from Advanced nutrients since week 2 of flower. Only the Pro mix HP pots are giving me calmag problems i have 10 in an other brand of peatmoss and they have no calmag problem.

Bump i need yall help ...getting a defficiency in flowering is starting to stress me out i know calmag defficiency during flowering can really affect my yield...
I just started Mid bloom section in the schedule i posted in last post. =

1/2tsp Floramicro
1/8tsp Floragro20200615_153400.jpg
1/2tsp FLorabloom
1/2tsp Calimagic
Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
2ml/liter
Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy
2ml/liter

My final mix is about 950ppm ( my tap water is 450ppm) and the ph is about 6.55 without using ph- or ph+
Last fed i took one of the 50 and i gave it 6.6ph 450ppm tap water untill 20%runoff the runoff was 6.1ph 900ppm So i am guessing Since i gave 6.6ph water and the runoff was 6.1 the medium was probably sitting at about 5.7-5.8ph and my feeding increased the ph to 6.1...

Since i kept feeding at 6.6 for the last few weeks and my soil always levels down to 5.8ph Should i be feeding 6.9Ph so it balances out to about 6.2+?
Should i add a lime or something on top of the soil to help raise the ph?

I am 90% sure i am switching to coco next run lol -pissed off peat moss user guy.
Thank you for your time!!!

You're growing in peat. You need to maintain a pH of the nutrient mix to be between 5.8-6.2. Don't worry about what comes out at runoff. Focus on what goes in. I've grown in peat since I started growing indoors (~8 years ago). I used Promix HP until two years ago, and switched to Sunshine #4 (another inert peat-based product), and I've not once checked runoff pH.

Aim for 6.0. Of course, pH after all of your nutrients are mixed into the water. Only providing water with no nutes? pH to 6.0 all the same. If your range goes up or down a point or two from 6.0, don't fret it. A little range is a good thing. Just don't go outside of that range.

I see both Calcium and the beginnings of Phosphorus deficiency. At 900 PPM, that should be plenty of nutrients.

Hmm maybe the last 2weeks i have been feeding too high ph (6.5-6.8ph) for peat moss... I will feed them 6.0ph tommorow and hope for the best... Should i feed with my mix or just with water since there is already enough nutrients in the soil ? Nuteburn always scared me lol
Thanks btw man !! really appreciated
