Help Can’t Clone

Hi guys,
My clones keep failing. Soak Rockwell cubes then shake them out. Then into the propagation dome on an electric blanket. A little light as well as rooting hormone. Spray mist one a day. Problem is the rockwool is absolutely soaked on day 7 and they look like rotting and blackish too on top.

Can anyone identify the problem?

sounds like your RH is too high, and the rockwool can't dry out. and you should clean the whole area with some bleach, to kill any lurking mold or mildew spores. also, don't directly mist your plants, mist the inside of the dome...but in this instance, you might want to get rid of the dome? or at least open the vents on it fully, if there are any.
i don't like those cubes, i use solo cups full of fresh coco to clone in, and have good luck. i use clonex gel, then just tap water till i start to see some roots in the drain holes on the cups. then they get the same feed as the rest of the veg plants.

Do you put your solo cups in a dome? And under what kind of light? How do you maintain the temp?
Sorry for all the questions !

no dome, they're in my veg tent, under the t5s, but they're down on the floor. i use a seedling mat, which is sitting on top of a piece of exercise matIMG_20191130_125921.jpgIMG_20191130_125929.jpg
as soon as they show a few roots they'll get moved up on that shelf closer to the light, and getting fed the same 300 ppm i feed all the veg plants
(those are actually rooted, and i haven't taken any yet off of the next plant, but you get the idea)

you can use the cubes, lots of people do, and get good results, they just never worked well for me. i tried this way, it works for me, so i went with it. i usually take 4 from a plant about a week after i flip it into flower. most of the time all 4 root up, and i have to pick the best one. i've always gotten at least one of the four to root, usually three or all four,
