yea i got one when i bought my lights lol it was on 20/4 but i wasnt sure some folk say its better to leave it on others say they need sleep but if u think i should give them 4 hours thats how ill keep it cheers man

the 24/0 wont hurt but i dont think it helps any compared to 20/4
some just run 24/0 cuz to cheap for timers or dont want to bother with them

lol to true man, it was one of the first things i ordered figured i would need one it would save me alot of sleepless nights and would mean i wouldnt need to worry when i switch to 12/12 none of that forgetting when im high lol
seen so many try to do 12/12 with no timer shit man thats just to much work and u are bound to fuck up and forget and makes u a slave to your grow
growing should be fun not a chore

no doubt when i first started i use to be fucking with my grows all the time now i try to make it simple and just make small improvements
i do this more for fun and when it turns into a chore i dont enjoy then it wont be fun anymore

I cannot tell if you have a reflector on those lights but it will help a lot. When you flower, if you can get both lights in the game it will double the yield for you. 6400k will work ok for flower, just rotate the plants between them.
On the pots, I try to fill them almost to the rim so I get all I can out of them. I like to veg for 7 weeks but less is ok too. The longer you veg the more bud sites are developed for later.
I think you have about 16 inches of good light coming off those lights and with a reflector, almost double that.
Did not catch if have odor control but that is a must. Ona gel is cheapest and some homemade carbon filters are next.

yeah when it gets less fun for me ill start making things more interesting might cross pollinate a couple of weird strains for max yield and strength maybe try create one with a pure fruity smell or something lol dunno though
its is a hobby that u can never learn everything about it

one thing that you should know about cfl lights, is that ya you can have the light really close to the plant but you got to remember is that plants grow towards the light. so if you want it to get taller you have to have the light higher above the plant. 12inches is a good height thats seems to work.
that will cause stretching and top heavy plants that will fall over by keeping lights close u get a busher plant
