HELP, DIY BUBBLE CLONER PROBLEMS!

So i started cloning in jiffy pellets about 3 years ago, since then I've went to rockwool cubes, and then for the last year been using rapid rooters. i do like the rapid rooters the best out of the three. But now im trying my hand at bubble cloning. I've heard good things about them and if working right thats one less thing i have to buy for cloning. Always trying to save a dollar. I bought a cheap air pump rubber/plastic container w/lid, Air tubing, some air stones, and net pots with neoprene collars.
i put it all together, fill it up, turn it on and lots of bubbles. proceed to take my cuttings like i always do and place them in the cloner, all seems fine. A little drooping but nothing out of the ordinary. The next day the leaves are twisting, drooping and sagging, i dont know what could be wrong. Any help will be appreciated so much. I need to get this thing dialed in. Ill post some pictures PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for your reply, Like what would you suggest? I figured as much, and was thinking a 2ft flexable air diffuser, and i would coil it in the shape of the tank. I have two air stones 7 inch but one is putting out more bubbles than the other, and i dont know why. I do seem to have the leaves twisting problem solved and that was due to temps being low. I have some nubs on one so thats a good sign.

I never had luck with bubble cloners. The cuts would get close to rooting but would end up dying at the 3 week mark.

Aerocloners is the way to go.

If you have a bigger pump and a couple more stones, you'd have a chance. The idea is to get the water splashing the stem constantly. The odd little drop hitting it isn't enough in my experience.

I've had great results myself with bubble cloners.The bubbles popping at the surface is the objective. Good way to test it is, if you can (from dry) run it for 4-5 minutes and if your lid and stems arent completely saturated and dripping....its not working good enough and you either need a stronger pump or to raise your reservoir level. You dont want the stems touching the res water, but want about an inch above the water. I have had 4 runs on my 9 site bubble cloner and had 100% success. I would advise leaving more nodes next time you clip also because the bottom node usually yellows out on these. I dont run any nutes for the first 5-6 days then hit them with like 3 drops of superthrive just to bump it up a bit cuz thats usually about when I get noticeable roots starting. I'll post some pics of my results in a bit. I have also recently made a 35 site cloner for under $50 and plan to put it in action soon.

Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated. Im cloning in rapid rooters till i get this on point for at least two runs then if all is running smooth i just might cross over, it seems so much more cost effective.

I run an aero cloner on a timer. 30 minutes on / 30 minutes off. They love it. Just simple & small DIY pvc pipe with sprayers and a water pump hookup. Don't have to worry about water leaks as much when you run the timer too! The roots need contact with air otherwise they will just rot in the dwc water/method.
