help first grow beginning to fail

for starters, this is a test grow to see if i am able to grow in my living room i am not really expecting to get any bud i have no clue if its even a fem seed its got the stripes on it so who knows but i really am just growing atm just to figure out how to do it exactly.

anyway i think i have overwatered it from the beginning the seedling leaves were beginning to be a little stiff.

then even tho RIU told me not to use any chemical fert yet i did it anyway :D i poured about 1mL of a 2-0-0 nute

also the stem was a little flimsy and LOOSE from the beginning, the plant at first was in a closet without a fan and i had my vents and my ceiling fan on but i assume the stem was flimsy because it had a lack of oxygen so i moved it closer to the ceiling fan. a piece of aluminum foil blew off and hit the plant and caused it to completely just tip over. i thought that maybe i needed to pack more soil around it and make it tighter. before i did that the root was really white at the bottom of the seedling that was visible above the dirt. i planted the germinated seed 1/2 inch below the dirt facing downward.

so i packed more soil around it made it tighter and a day later it looked like it took a liking to the nute the green was becoming more bright, so even tho i figured it could burn the plant, i poured another 1 mL of the 2-0-0 on it just because i wanna experiment with this plant.

So now I wake up in the middle of the night one of the four leaves is bent, and then this morning 2 leaves looked a bit whitish and losing it nice green color and the stem has gone from being brownish the past couple of days to green, i have no pics to show but bottom line is id like to know how to fix:

-Limp/Loose stem
-Dying Leaves
-Stem color clarification
-And should I put a seedling through a short dark period daily?

You say one of the four leaves is bent, how old is this plant? If it only has four sets of true leaves you need to stop feeding it and let the soil dry out almost completely.

There is a natural temptation to want to "do something" to help it but most of the time with a new grower taking the "less is more" approach is a better idea.

Most of your concerns will likely be solved by letting it dry out then just give it some water only until a little runs out the bottom of the pot. Wait until you have a larger stronger plant to start experimenting on it. You can easily kill it if it is as young as it sounds like it is. IMO you do not need a dark period.

With all respect my friend, the only problem I see on the plant right now is you. I agree with Cascadian, let her dry a bit and maybe use some plain water until she gets older. Weed nowadays may be weakers in terms of surviving alone, but they still know how to do their shit so trust her a little. :eyesmoke: cheers, and I hope she gets better.
