HELP!!!!! first time grower first leaf problem...

I'm thinking calcium def. this is only on my white widow x big bud everything else looks good. Also it's only on a few leaves most of the plant looks good, just trying to stay on top of it.
I flushed her today and followed up with a feeding half strength with full strength calmagic

Have a few issues I can see. First is the corners of leaves turning up means it's to hot in room or light is to close. 2nd is the rust coming from the inside to out on leaves means cal mag deficiency. Or ph issue. But seems like you took care of that. Be 5 days before ypu see changes on average. Less in hydro. Also it will only effect new growth old growth that's damaged stays damaged.

to add in on the other guy

iron can cause the dots and yellowing of the leaves .......chelated iron and zinc can get from any gardern store (if have too buy vit pills crush add to water but has to be chelated for absorption)

Isn't the big bud x white widow strain mangolicious? I'm growing mangolicious right now and that's what mine are anyways, mine are about 7-8 weeks old and they have that same orange color on about 5-6 leaves, my 1000 watt LED is about 3 feet away, I'm using foxfarm oceans forest fertilizer soil so I don't believe it's a nutrient deficiency. So everything points towards lighting issues, I'm going to readjust my light maybe 6 more inches up. Your plants look great, you definitely take care of them.

Since I believe we are growing same strain maybe you can help me with a problem I'm having with one of mine...

Out of the 3 plants I'm growing one of them isn't growing new stems or anything respectively at the nodes. When they all started it was the best one I thought because it was growing faster than the others so I thought it had the best genes. The plant is about 12-14" tall with 5-6 sets of leaves growing up the main stalk, where the branches reach the main stem (at the nodes) there like two very tiny little leaves, no new branches or anything. Now my other two plants are growing great with new branches forming everyday at the nodes. Why had this plant stopped growing? Any insight greatly appreciated

Mine did the same thing after the fifth node but that's where I FIM'ed them after that the lower started to fill out nicely. When I switched to 12/12 after a week or so these plants took off growing and stoped about week 3 into flowing and started to fill out. This is my first grow so i'm far from capable of giving advice but I think my plants were calcium / mag deficient. I flushed them then followed up with a feeding at 75% strength my next watering in the morning I added a little calmag 3-0-0 and diluted it into 4gal of PH'ed water 6.4. We will see how thing go next week i'll feed at 90% and watch the leaves very carefully for the next few days after that. I have 4 weeks to go fingers crossed

Wait are you not using nutrients right now? 7-8 weeks veg is a long time to only have 5 nodes. Also might wat the ask around about 1000w only being 3' away in Veg. Might be too much light i used 1000w MH but about 5-6 feet away during veg and only 4-5 weeks before u switched to flowering

No im not using nutrients, should I be? I'm using foxfarm oceans forest soil/fertilizer. I was going to buy nutrients but the owner of the hyrdroponics store told me not to, he told me the foxfarm would be all it needs for like 6-8 weeks until I transplant it into bigger pot. The foxfarm is supposed to be a great soil with natural fertilizers like kelp and worm castings. And the plant I'm having difficulties with has six sets of nodes and is exactly 12 inches tall. The "good" plant is about 15-16" tall with stems/branches growing out of every node rapidly and big. I buy water with perfect PH levels. I'm not going to change up my growing conditions because one plant isn't growing as fast as another. If the conditions are great for the big plant why should I change? I don't think it's a lighting situation other than maybe having some reflective material, the big plant seems to be loving its amount of light

U could get by w.o using nutes..but dude I would def use them..it's good soil for sure but it needs something else man..I used the ff moonshine mix..and modified it with more nutes ..plus i fed w nute teas and top dressed...all while the plants were exploding....and btw flushing doesn't do anything really ..unless you are flushing the soil out ..which can work ..you can't flush the plant...I dont think that's what u meant thought..but they look decent...the curled tips could be a couple things...heat and dry conditions..but idk..watch on how much calmag u use..don't like the stuff tbh...

Can you post a pic of your grow pots in all. I'm also using fox farm soil but I started feeding at 3 weeks. Most likely your plants are just hungry. Are you using fem seeds? Sometimes I hear the fast grower could be a dude.

Don't laugh but I watched a video on super cropping and I though the plant wasn't getting and undergrowth because of the larger leaves so I just bent them out of the way, as soon as I did it I knew it was a bad idea, good thing it was only two branches

Yea those poor leaves on the right look sad..poor girl...and I see u have some burn looking on the right fab leaves ..it looks strange though..also your new growth is yellow looking..I can't really tell under LEDs ..but I would make a microbial tea and hit em w it..then I would get some Rabbit poop and or seabird guano to top dress w..but I still say u need aan all purpose DRY fert...some kelp meal and rabbit poop as a top dress will do wonders...but in order to see quick results you need a diverse soil that will break it down quick...it all about those lil microbes ....
