HELP Fox farm potting soil

Hi all re planted my one and only plant about 5 weeks ago. all was good for the first couple of weeks. but in the last 2 weeks i have noticed a decrease in growth and now its not growing at all. I have a few leafs at the bottom that are yellow shriveled and dead

I used fox farm potting soil with no dry fertilizers added. Just the soil
I water at 6.5 ph every time
constantly a 74 degree in the closet
humidity at 45-50%

its about 12 inches tall. should i just go ahead and flower? and if so I have some tiger bloom any tips on using liquid fertilizers would be helpful. since i read MJ doesn't need as much nutrient as tomato's and certain fruits that fox farm designed their ferts for.

I might be going to the local Hydro store later today to get a PPM meter and a PH tester.. any idea how much those run?

Thx for any and all the new info much appreciated. iv tried looking these topics up. but found no definite answer for what im looking at.

5 weeks is a long veg stage, I veg 1 weeks under flo's in 18 oz cup with LW then 1 gallon pots keeping'em in LW till there root bound in them. Then I'll put'em in ffof for 2 weeks now water twice going to feed the next watering. As for your slow growth problem I would ask ya what sizes of pots you using? What type of lights? It sounds like your using cfl's or flo's. A ph & ppm meter are a great investment. When you get to FFTB you will really need'em cause their tiger bloom will make the ph of the bloom nutes drop way low like 5.5 ph and you have to raise it!
I can watch these babies grow like a 1/4" hour:lol:

im using, and I know its over kill 1000 watt HPS and im using 3 gallon pots .. temp around the tops stays 74 degrees .... I have a fish aquarium ph kit. I tested the run off and its about a 6.5. I use store bought distilled water.... And I'm Officially scared now that my plants is gonna die so im going to go ahead and bloom these things. Any tips on what to do before i start the 12-12 cycle? like leave in complete darkness for 24 hours? or flush with 1/4 nutrient ? any tips would be great Im a total nub at this.

actually the water i used for flush was a 6.5 + ........the run off was about a 6.5... maybe a little lower since its a aquarium kit im using hard to accurately judge the ph.

Your plant is asking for nutes and probably needs to be transplanted. I would also check into some Cal mag. Its good to get in the habit of checking your ph. And ppm's but it is not as important to do in soil as in hydro, there is way more room for error.

well if its in a 3 gal pot. And only 11-12 inches tall with 2 main colas cause of trimming. What size of pot would i go for next?

If you are gonna switch to 12/12 put them 5 gallon pots. Get the PPM PH meter you will need it. Also dont completely gut the N out in flower.

Thanks 5 gallon it is... would you suggest just re potting it with more fox farm pottinjg soil? and adding Tiger bloom every other feed? and if so on the tiger bloom... how many PPM should i feed it?

What kind of fox farm soil do you have? If it's Ocean forest I wouldn't give it anything for like 2 weeks, if I do it's only something like liquid karma or some silica. Once you see buds start I would hit it with the flower nute. Follow the instructions on your bottle for feeding and I do nutes every other watering for my soil plants. When you water makes sure you get good drain off cause salt build up can fuck ya up. You can check the ppm if you want to know but that doesn't seem to be as critical as it is in hydro. The only reason why I check now I because I have a dwc and some coco going. I am no pro but have been through all these issues before.

sweet thank you soooo much Im gonna transplant tomorrow. Oh im using fox farm potting soil that contains mycorrhizae and humic acid (brown bag)... any tips for a super smooth transplant?? i heard let it get bone dry... is this true? iv only transplanted from 12 oz party cups to 3 gallon pots before. any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you both for the input. anymore tips would be hawt :)

BEFORE you upcan, get some dolomite lime (~$5/40lb bag at Lowes or HD), and add it to the mix. Will take care of pH and cal/mag issues. 2tbl/gallon of mix, or 1cup/cf of mix.

That alone will take care of 90% of your problems before they occur. Or, you can learn from experience, what gardeners already know about using lime.
