I'm a week and half into flowering . Lol . Erm I could use it in the soil and hope the fly traps do the trick aswell . Is it ok to use in the soil of flowering plants ?
That's a good question, I thinks wi a soil drench ya should be ok. I have had a mite infestation on some 6 week budded plants a few years ago, and just took the garden hose sprayer to the plants and it hosed off a large majority of the mites. And ended n dryied out good.

This is your permanent solution. Everything else is just killing them. You need to prevent them.
There’s also not really any point, unless you have a crazy infestation, gnats don’t really do anything. No added airflow if you just let your media completely dry out between every watering, they’ll be gone in a couple weeks. Airflow can get rid of a small problem in a few minutes.

I got ya man..

Head on down and buy yourself a box of panty hose. Make sure while your in the womens isle that they see you trying to look through all the leggings and give you dirty looks.

Now, go back home with them. Hopefully you got the extra xxx size ones. If so, you might be able to stretch it all the way around the pot, and zip tie around the stalk.

If not, you'll have to get crafty, and cut up a liner, and tape it around the top and the drain holes of the pot.

Now the lil bastards cant fly in or out of the soil, and in a few days theyll be dead.

Plus, you can still water as usual, right through the fabric.

Good luck.

P.s.: if you wanna see something really cool, poke a straw down into the dry pot of soil thats infested with gnats. Then, hook up an e-cig device with ultra potent peppermint flavored nicotine e-juice, and pump the vapor right into the pot of soil.

Watch all the gnats and larvas squirm to the too, fly away, and die!
Then put panty hose over the pots, lol.

And BTW gnats can bring in other bacteria and parasites into your soil. Pretty sure even mites can hitch rides on them through the air.

Also, not watering has never worked for me, just caused lockouts and other problems, making the roots turn brown and basically giving them more material to feast on..

Lots of ways to rid yourself of these little bastards. I use DE and sand. Good layer of DE and then cover top with either perlite or sand. Next option I would use is BTI or mos bits.

I Agree Diatomaceous works well for shredding micro bugs. I use it as a top dress after every transplant.

I dug the top layer out with a toothpick. Got some beach sand and put 1.5 inches of it. And water from the bottom.
For hydrogen peroxide, I’m afraid of it being too strong and touching the roots, if you are skilled enough itsnpossible to have the hydrogen peroxide water only get down 1-2inches where they live and no deeper.

Also I use duct tape lnstead of the traps to catch them crawling on the dirt ( and other bugs) duct tape strips all over the dirt area. Even a circle around the stem

The flytraps are only good for identifying pests not eliminating them.

But they still appear . I didn't water for like 4 days then about 5 days .the first 3 inch if soil was bone dry . The Plant started looking drained so I had to give it more water n it's perked up now but can I use hydrogen peroxide to rid the babies from the soil . I bet they have been at my roots . .will neem oil work ? I need the best solution to this problem coz I'm just a week and half into flowering and need them gone lol cheers
Look for "mosquito dunks" on amazon. Contains a bacteria that eats the young hiding under the soil and feeding off your plants roots.

Google also offers many solutions. Mainly concerned with keeping a top layer dry to discourage breeding and multiplication.
