HELP! getting caught growing outside

I am only growing one plant outside, but I was wondering how possible it is to get busted outside. I am planning to move it to a safer spot tomorrow night (in the middle of the night), but I was just wondering if someone happened to report its existence, how serious would cops take just one plant thats only about 7-8 inches? I really don't think they'd keep a cop there all day for just one plant, and even if I came strolling by that same area, how could they prove it was my plant?
Just getting paranoid, and don't want to get caught going over there when I move it.

lol, it depends on how your police and sheriff officers are. if you live in a real little city where the cops on duty at night have nothing to do they would, if it was alot bigger that is. or they could be lazy cops who dont care and dont wanna work so they dont feel like busting u, most likely they just pull it. all depends on your local p.d.

No one is going to notice a plant that is only 8" tall and identify it as pot. If the area is secluded and is not used by a ton of people you should be safe all the way through your grow. If it is in a place where people might walk right past it then you should def move it before it gets over a few feet tall. I have 3 males planted in a batch of weeds and it's hard for me to see them and I know they are there.....

no there not worried about 1 plant in the woods. and unless you have gardening equipment and nutrients, you can deny that it belongs to you, unless its on your property.

im always more cautious of animals abd pests out doors than cops

if your plant is in a pot, have you ever though about putting it on a platform way up in a tree?

Well, it is in a spot where someone could walk past it, and while I know that almost no one goes back there it isn't like its in a super secluded spot. Just in a pot out on a dirt trail and there are houses on the other side (but theres a long canal in between the houses and the dirt trail) I am planning on moving it to a place where there are a lot of high plants somewhat close together (but I think not close enough in which my plant wouldnt get any light)

The chances of it being noticed at that size, or of law enforcement involvement, are minuscule at best... I wouldn't want to guess the odds but you probably have a better chance of winning the lottery... My experience is that they do not even become noticeable until, actually, this time of year when they are flowering and nearing the end of their life cycle.
