Hey all, This is my first and I'm sure not my last post.

I had my grower quit on me and I don't know how to mix our nutrients without poisoning the plants.

These are the nutrients we use:

General Hydroponics Flora Micro
GH Flora Gro
GH Flora Bloom
BotaniCare Cal-Mag Plus
Superthrive
The Guano Company Budswel

I have a 55 gallon drum with a submersible pump, We use FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil with about a 50/50 mix of Perlite to soil and all 28 plants are well into the Veg state with 2-4 plants ready to start pre flowering. Please walk me through the process of mixing a 55 gallon batch. THANK YOU!

I've read the backs of each bottle but I don't know how to incorporate the nutes that aren't listed on the back.

Look them up on the web, then just do the math for 45 gallons. I say 45 gallons because if you do the math for 55 gallons you won't have enough room for all those nutes.

General Hydroponics
Flora Micro = 3 TBSP
Flora Gro = 5 Ozs
Flora Bloom= 6 Ozs
BotaniCare Cal-Mag Plus = 3 TBSP

just a start. might be something like this.

Just follow the instructions. Don't listen to the people saying it's not worth your time. Who cares if you mess up as long as you're actually trying to learn what you're doing..

Perfect. Just what I was looking for, now is this for Veg? Flower? I want full on Vegetative for now.
Dumb question. Why make that much at a time?
Because I can? I figure one big batch with extra attention paid is better than a few more frequent batches with less attention.

Do a search for grow journals using your nutes.

Find out the PPM's the growers are using at your stage of growth.

Add your nutes to 1 gallon until you get the PPM and PH you want.

Multiply X however many gallons you want to use.

Remember you can always add more, but if you use too much and burn your plants, you can't un-burn them, so go LIGHT at first.

Lastly, don't rely on others to do YOUR research for you.

Good luck.

Now wait a minute..whoa whoa whoa......it's not good to mix up nutrients and then let them sit for weeks just because it's convenient. You should only be mixing up the amount of nutes you need for a single feeding. The next time will just be straight H2O. Don't mix up 55 gallons of nutes and think "Hey, I'm good until October" It doesn't work that way.

you are in ff ocean forest and perlite, why use hydro nutes? you have a rich soil that will take care of them for a while, get some lime and some Jacks classic, done

Get this soil for your next grow and you will eliminate every concern, grow outstanding plants and get awesome yields. All you do is water and watch them grow from seedlings or clone cuts into the most healthy plants. This soil is hands down THE best. Even beats Subcool's Super Soil. I never saw a brown or discolored leaf. No chance of burn due to the chosen organic ingredients in the mix. Yeah maybe I should have taken pics but that ain't my thing. Posting on these blogs isn't my thing either but this shit is too good not to share.

Get it here: http://buildasoil.com/products/base-soil-mix
