I am about to feed my plants nutes for the first time. The product I am using is Technaflora Plant Products "Recipe for Success" which consists of Thrive Alive B-1 Green, Thrive Alive B-1 Red, Sugar Daddy, Route 66, BC Boost, BC Grow, MagiCal, BC Bloom and Awesome Blossom. They use different nutrients for each stage and I am kind of stuck in the middle on this one because I am about to transplant my plants from 1 gallon buckets to 3 gallon buckets real soon. The transplanting stage of the "Recipe for Success" calls for the Route 66 and Sugar Daddy immediately after I transplant them into the 3 gallon buckets but since I am transplanting them into new soil (HappyFrog) I am worried that I will over nute them because the Happy Frog already comes with nutes in the soil. Would it make a difference if I feed the plants a couple days prior to transplanting them instead of doing it immediately after I transplant them into new soil? The vegetative feeding stage calls for the BC Boost, BC Grow, Thrive Alive B-1 Red, MagiCal and Sugar Daddy. Should I feed the plants the Vegetative Feeding stage nutes in the 1 gallon buckets a couple days before I transplant them into 3 Gallon Buckets or would it be good to feed them the transplanting stage nutes a couple days prior to transplanting them? So the real question is, should i feed them the transplanting nutes or the vegetative nutes first? Plants are about 6 inches tall if that makes a difference.
