Help (holes with sawdust like exits)

One plant (two pictures) is really bad. Just found this one hole(one picture) in another plant. Any idea whats caussing this and how to stop/fix it?

dude on another site says its stem borers and to either put soap in the hole then tape it or spray spinosad on them
I wouldn't know what to do sorry, I would have sliced the stem and burned whatever was inside at risk of killing the plant but don't do that, hopefully someone will be along who knows, either that or check on google if they are stem borers
 
I know it sounds stoner and dumb, I was just thinking trying to syringe suck anything that is inside, like a plunger does, then plug the hole

That's exactly what I saw someone do the other day on here. He put a slice up the stem from the hole and pulled the thing out.
 
I getting them really bad every year, they are the worm borers for sure. You can cut them out like he said but when there's hundreds it's kinda tricky. Bastards will rot the bud if left alone too. Try spraying neem oil first of July and continue through til buds start to form. Good luck
