Help! How to Go from 24/0 Veg to Outside

So ive got a few plants that ive been vegging for about a month now under 24 hour lights. I want to put my babies outside (hawaii) but im not sure if i should just toss them out there or should i change the light cycle on my room down to 18/6 and then put them out there.... + rep for any good advice! Thanks!

Peace :leaf::hump:

Decide what day you want to plant. IDK the light cycle in Hawaii, so don't know what would be the best day to plant. Look at an almanac, and get the sunrise/sunset time for your area. Remember, plants trigger 1 hour before sunrise,till one hour after sunset, so add 1 hour to the light schedule for that day, to the morning, and the evening. Set your light timer to match that, and leave them there for at least 2 weeks and then when you put them out, they shouldn't flower, unless the days are just too short in your area. If it's less than 18 hours(and it prollt is) drop em' down to 18 hours for a week or so first, then go down to your mark.
I have had plants flower on me more than once, and have used this method for the past 2 years and havn't had 1 flower early on me since.

well, you would expose the plant to much less stress if you were to change the indoor lighting schedule down to 18/6 first... run that lighting schedule for about 2 weeks to let the plants get use to the new schedule.. then transfer them outdoors if thats what your wanting to do. This would minimize the stress that the plant might possibly receive during the transition from indoors to outdoors.

Now, if you were to just toss them outdoors without letting them get acclimated to their new lighting schedule.. then your going to stress them out majorly. Def. more than they would if you were to follow the 18/6 for about 2 weeks.. then transfer them outdoors.

good luck.
