Then what, when theyre rooted? re-veg? what happened to the bud? Thats interesting.
just took cuttings 2 weeks ago tomorrow including some of my plants that i was ready to cut down.took the cuttings from the bottom part of the plant. always seems like there are a couple grow spots at the very bottom of the plant that are good for cloning but any grow shoot will do. just cut as you usually would and let her sit. its been 13 days since i took my cuttings and one of the budded cuttings was actually the first to root this time. they root then go back to the veg stage....the bud is still intact on the cutting but you can see it starting to reveg. probably let it go with 24 light for a couple weeks before i flower it. at first the new growth looks really funky but it comes around quickly. you can take a cutting from anywhere on a flowering plant no matter how old and clone it easily. just don't reveg much over a foot tall or you will have a monster.

is still there but you can see where its starting to fall apart as the plant starts to reveg. i find the flowered cuttings to be stronger and not a easily damaged as a cutting from a vegging plant.

Is it significant that when you re-veg a flowering plant over 1' tall, its going to be a monster?

My mom turned purple and she's solid man, I mean like a hardwood. I was knocking her stem tonight. Im going to have to trim her. Not gonna take cuttings again until I see how my new seeds sprout. I got some Jamaican seeds in the mail so they need sprouting for the beginning of August, thats when these current clones go to flower.
