Ok so i look in the grow room this morning and the chain that is holding my 150w HPS light fell. The light cliped one of the two plants near the top of the stem and she is bent 90 degrees at this point, about 8 inches from the top. The plant is 2 feet tall.

The top 8 inches didn't get cut off just bent and the stem there is still completely intact, just too flimsy to hold the main cola, thats why it's bent 90 degrees. I tied the top of the plant off with three strings so it resumed normal position under the light.

The plants are top 44 about 25 days into flowering. I'm not sure what to do. Will the injured plant survive, will it effect yield? I'll post some pics later if needed.

Any help is appreciated!!!!!!!!

I had a similar situation when one of my friends knocked shit over on to my plant. Mine had the top 6-7 inches bent over almost to 90 degrees. I supported it for a week and it seemed to recover fine.

Thats good news. What did you support it with?
I actually reacted really fast and had one of my friends support it while I got a shoelace. I just wrapped it around the stem a few times about 2 inches up from where it bent over and then taped both ends of the shoelace to the wall. I kind of did it as a quick temporary fix while i found out what to do, but it worked fine so i just left it for a week. I feel like the plant was supporting its own weight after only a couple days though.

just prop it up with a stick and some fishing line. it should heal fine and be even stronger
