What type of light and how far is it? How hot is it at the canopy? Is the light too clos
Hi cheers for the reply. I just repotted it about 2 days ago and gave it a good ish water . The pH level of the water was 6.5 I haven't got much money so got simple tools lol . I have a 75watt led grow light . I repotted it coz I'm gonna change to flowering in a week's time so giving it a few days to recover .If the new growth continues to do this you should check the pH of the medium. It could be acidic. I have seen them do that when the pH of the root zone is too low and the new leaves are smallish and the serrations are like that. Soil can become acidic if you are bottle feeding.
I also have 2 normal led lights . I put them lower down the plant just do they get a bit of light underneath.Hi cheers for the reply. Great advice . I have moved the light higher . I may try a lil lst later . I just don't want to damage the plant . Even tho I know they are stronger than we think . I'm a clumsy guy just dread waiting for the dreaded snap lol . I'll let u know how it goes in the next couple of days .I always go with the rule of elimination, as stated moving the light slightly higher will more than likely fix the issue.
I believe this is a humidity issue, the heat may be making it slightly less humid below the bulb. I believe there is a very very slight heat issue just below the bulb resulting in more of a humidty issue than anything.
It is a fine balance with those type of lights due to the lumen output.
It is not a huge deal i would just move the bulbs up ever so slightly or LST. As the plant grows, with me anyway it usually sorts out the humidity issue itself.
I dont see any reason why you shouldnt pierce holes in the sides of your pot and tie those branches down to open up the plant and create a lower more even canopy.
Thanks . For the reply . The water is around 6.5 that I water with . With most issues i experience i flush and refresh the nutrients for the sake of it, better safe than sorry it wont do any harm. Flush with phd water following the appropiate amount of nutes. Thanks . Thanks mate. Iv only had to start growing my own incase we all get locked down haha . I'm a sort of panick grower haha . Have a good day palHaha sounds good best of luck, true they are hardy plants, i often gently snap the branches to position them also they bounce right back up. Its just getting a feel for it with a bit of practice it wont seem daunting at all. I often tie a noose aroung the branch ensuring there is still some flexibility around the stem, pierce a hole plance the string through it and then slighty work the branch downward wriggling it slightly to increase flexibility of the branch itself and slowly lower it, you can feel when the branch starts to tighten just dont pull it past that point.
Some branches you can bend at like a 90 degree angle no problem.
