Alrighty im going to start feeding it the cal mag sooner then expected browning has gotten worse idk if thats due to the pure blend im using for veg 1 cap per gallon of water i thought i had some cal mag in the shed but i guess not heading to the store monday will it be alright until then?
yeah you are just doing too much too fast like I said I would only give it maybe a quarter strength calmag but I wouldn't give it any nutes till its leaves start taking off

It need to start to be fed. Very low doses. The yellowing means it using stored food that's what it's supposed to do. This is a good indicator that your veg cycle is beginning and that the plants needs to be fed regularly
I didn't nute the plant in my pic till it was about8 inches tall and had aquite a few leaves. most soil has the nutes you need for up to 3 weeks. and yellowing leaves means nute burn very light green or pale leaves mean not enough nutes

yes because my soil is organic with no nutes. i dont feed mine nutes for a while. doing just fine. its extremely easy to burn seedlings.

if you run 24 i think you just get stretchy plants if yo give them that rest they dont get crazy i heard. havnt tried doing 24
Not necessarily so. Mary Jane is a C3 type plant there are 2 main types of plants C3 and C4 you can look up the difference if you may
But long story short C3 plants absorb most of there co2 during light periods and therefor require very little dark time\periods if not any at all. If anything they will grow roughly 1\3 times faster
I been running my lights 24\0 since day one here is a picture of them at little over 2 weeks old. You be the judge

Hey can anyone explain topping to me? I get that you cut the top but every plants different and i do not want to top if its early, if this makes any sense please any info thanks

Thank you should the plant be a certain size when you do this? My plant just started veg state i was told I'll upload a pic in about 50 minutes running a 20/4 schedule right now my room gets to hot if its left on straight 24 hours

You can do it whenever you want essentially.

Im finding this way harder than have to be... Haha I'll upload a picture in a half hour and will see what happens from there

I just got done topping mine. I was all nervous and over thinking it but when it came time to do it was piece of cake and took me mer minutes.
Heres a few diagrams/pics might help ya out.
Im no expert on topping but I read/heard you can start topping at pretty early in veg stage. As long as you feel they able to take it. My personal opinion/guess would be anything after 4th node should easily be able to handle it. Id do a little more research on the matter though. Good luck

Use a fan or some kind of cooling method for your lights and running them 24/0 wont be an issue. I run mine 24/0 with all lights an inch away from top of plants and they all doing fine without heat stress

I have a small Tiny fan pushing the air around in there and i have a hps 150 i think they would burn if that close
Yeah I was using a medium rotating fan and just recently upgraded to 2. And im running a 4x T8 32W fixture and a few CFLs which doesn't require much cooling your HPS 150W deff gonna run you more heat and distance from plants. Dont have experience with HPS Lights

Will do and yea it does create heat and i have em about three ft away right now when they grow bigger gonna have to raise the light or top when there's a bit more growth
