I'm ready to just get a cabin far far in the woods and become the next mountain man. It just feels so natural! Lol and... Back to reality in 3..2..1..oh look the mail came, wait what's this ... A bill?? 340 dollars? Well I will just call the company and see if the want a nice 400 watt hps instead. Haha

I wasn't talking about a led unit, I am talking about just the bulbs themselves, they work fucking great for me.cfls do work too, I was just throwing out options....I used to use cfls in my grow box, but I was constantly battleing the heat. cfls get pretty warm, especially in enclosed boxes, and these led's put off more light, use less power, and run WAY cooler. for me, they have been just what I was looking for, growing on a budget and all. I know when you google cree leds, usually a led unit pops up, that is just units people have made by taking out the componets of the bulbs I use. they are god awfully expensive. I don't have that kind of money.

So which Cree bulbs are you using.. I googled for some but none are as cheap as what your paying.. Link?

Your plant won't get very big but it's the route I go due to size restrictions with my cab. There is nothing there though. There is so much more to.consider to reap a smokable harvest. What kind of LED do you have? You can keep this one under 12/12 for the heck of it but you will not get anything over a gram you really should do research, watch grow DVDs, etc.

Even at 12/12 from seed the plant still vegetates for a couple weeks before it goes into the flowering cycle.

no prob. they only make two types, 2700k warm white, and 5000k cool white.

there ya go, if you have a home depot by you, they will have them in store.
they work wonders for me, I got 12 in my box, and that is working great...its about 60 bucks to get them all that you will need, but in my opinion, they work way better then cfl's...like I said, cooler, cheaper to run, and brighter. my plant is going crazy under them. not to many people use these to grow with cause they are fairly new, and up until recently, they were not affordable to anyone except rich folks. The cree bulb is the pioneer of this first wave of affordable usable leds. I swear by them. if you want, I can show you some pics of how my plant is responding to them....let me know.

I find it easier to beg for forgiveness rather than to ask for permission.

Haha ... But how easy is it gonna be for you when your wife comes home after a shopping spree. She will beg for forgiveness, or she could ask first and then we have the oppurtunity to say "hell na! " lol

You do it to them and they will do it back... Mine does not do that...yet... So not trying to open up a can of worms before I need to lol..
That, and our budget so tight that I been smokin swag for months now just to make sure I always got my smoke I have been contemplating a 1 month smoking pause to in return use the saved money for other pot related items like a new light.

maybe not high exaust...but you are still going to want something pumping air...I just have two computer fans at the top my box, blowing out, and I have drilled about 6 1/2inch holes on bottom of cab, and it sits right aroung 82degrees, and that's with 12 bulbs burning inside, on hot days, I do have to stick a frozen two liter bottle in there In front of my little fan, and it keeps it cool as the other side of my pillow. I got sooooo fucking tired of fucking with heat, that is why I decided to move over to led.... the people at home depot said they run 25-30% cooler...sounds about right.

oh and one more bonus, they will swap them out, no questions asked at home depot if you have ANY issues....so that was cool too.

these are a few days old, but this is my auto bubblicious I have under those cree bulbs, and this thing is going absolutely insane, pic was taken when she was about 18 days old.... starting to flower already!

hey man, thought I would show you my baby! I transplanted her, and started a little lst'ing....you figure out your grow cab issues bro?

the two pics above are only like a week and a halfs difference in growing. this thing is a beast!
