The bottom leaves on my plants are getting very light/ loosing color. What is the problem?
In my experience with other plants once the leaves turn then the best thing to do is just cut them off. The plant will expend energy trying to feed them when in fact they are goners, better to have it expend its energy on new growth. Anyway, you can either LST (try using that soft bonsai wire) and move the upper leaves out of the way, or prune the upper leaves. Personally, if it were my plant, I'd cut off the yellowing leaves and let it go from there.Thats what i thought is that the light is being blocker, but its outdoor grow, so shouldnt light be hitting most leaves? if it is light what is a good way to let them get light?
