Help! LED Lights and Watering

Hey guys, I have a small grow box setup in my house and a new 300 watt led from growtimetunnel. My plants are 2 weeks old and I feel like they are small for there age.

So my question is. How high do I hang my 300watt led from these seedlings? Right now I'm at 16 inches.
I also water with a spray bottle about once every two or three days and mist them occasionally. Is that enough or proper?

They are a light cycle of 18-6

Your plants are fine for their age. You need to cut back the watering though. Let the soil dry out some. The fan leaves will go completely limp if it is bone dry. Even then though you can water it and tomorrow they are as good as new. Let the soil dry and it will encourage root growth as they search for water. More roots = bigger plants. I grow under led and water every 3rd day like clockwork but i have plants in flower with full root systems. Young plants like kiwi said, water them once week. Maybe every 5 days just get a feel for it. The plant will let you know when its thirsty.

What are the temps on avg??
Hey guys UPDATE

just got 2 bags of fox farm ocean Forrest, dolomite some perlite and 2 new square containers

I'm going to transplant tonight, what is a good ratio for mixing up a good soil?

Also my average temp is 82-84 degrees, I know that's on the slightly higher side, but I can't seem to get it much lower than 80-82

It sits at 82 most of the time with a humidity level of 50.

I stopped watering after my post and my plants look ALOT better. Flourishing even. Thanks for the tip, gonna stick with water aprox every 3rd to 4th day

So who has the mix recipe!? Lol

Alrighty, I found a good recipe for mixing my soil. The first transplant went just fine..... But the second one.... Ugh..... The roots had reached the bottom of the pot and upon lifting the clump of dirt surrounding the roots out.... I heard at least one or two small snaps..... It pained me to even hear....

Does anyone know if this is really bad? I know it's not good, and as long as the taproot is preserved I should be ok.... Possibly set back though.

How far set back? A few days? Weeks?

I see some disco fans in there..
Suggest you invest in a light meter which can be had for perhaps $20 on amazon I've got a dr. Meter and it works quite well.

Shoot for 5-6000 foot candles at canopy level

Hold your hand there for twenty seconds, of it s too hot for you, it's too hit for the plants, son.
