here is my four bubba my question is i let them go to long in a cup and when i transplanted i notice the roots looking yellowish and now they are transplanted into 3gallon pots have not given them any nutes at all and they just are not perking up and not looking healthy green my question is what to do,,,,, just keep giving them plain water add some grow nutes etc o and they are under a 600 watt mh temp is 78 humidity 20 to 30,,,,, and the pic was taken when lights were out so that acounts for some of the droop but still has droop when lights are on and some of the leaf edges start to curl up

what do u mean by this sorry still kinda new ,,,,if u mean shake the dirt off i couldnt the roots had filled the whole soil and would just rip the roots if i tried to break it up and didnt want to rip the roots apart

When they get potbound like that they spiral into themselves and have no where to go. Don't be afraid just dig up the rootball and massage the roots out. It's ok if you tear some.

when i transplant i cut an X into the bottom of the rootball...root pruning can be done and it helps the plant more then it hurts it....but to me it looks like a watering issue...i see around the plant the soil is wet while the outside of the soil near the edge of the pot is dry...make sure your watering all the soil in the pot....but i would say its either over/under watered...how much water do you give them and how often?

i havnt givin them a full watering yet just dumped about 16 oz of water on them so far each day for 2 days ,,,,, should i dig them up and break the root ball apart soil isnt soaked so it would be easy to do

and when i water should i water enough that water comes out the bottom i was told u should have 15% run off and then i have heard that doing so washes out nutrients,,,,,,should i keep the whole pot wet without having runoff after watering

Really? Very interesting. I have heard of root pruning, but never tried this method. I have some girls that are about to come outta their party cups. Think I''l give this a try. Thanks dj +rep

if its only been 2 days...then it might just be transplant shock..some strains get it more then others...give it a couple more days and when you can tell its dry again...go ahead and water it with a low dose of nutes

with the leaf edges curling up on some leaves what the grow shop told me was the plant was trying to disperse heat and cant due to toxic build up but the none of the plants have had any nutes added since taken as clone

I once left two clones in their dixies for about 6 weeks and then put them in 3 gallon pots, it took about 2 weeks to see any growth but then suddenly one just went crazy and is now about a foot taller then all of my other plants from the same batch. The other, is a bit smaller than average but is still plenty healthy and is now beginning to flower 4 weeks from transplant.
