Help me choose the best strain!

I just put my two blueberry kush plants into flowering, and I'm already looking ahead to my next grow (yes this is now my 1st)..I am growing indoors in a basement with a 400w hps light and many fans and an intake and ouottake exhaust. Also I will be growing in FoxFarms OceanForest. with FF nutes as well. I'm trying to decide what strin will give me the best yield, most potency, and also very tolerant to the environment I will be growing in. I was thinking maybe LA Confidential? I don't know, any advice is appreciated!

Yes I know I'm just looking for a strain that is fairly forgiving and easy to grow but also VERY potent. Sorry I don't know if I'm asking too much lol

Next Generation Dynamite (basically it's grapefruit bx) sweet aroma that matches the taste, durable as hell.

That said I've been looking at Chocolate Rain as a next purchase for a couple months :)

what (if any) are the disadvantages of running two strains at once? Say chocolate rain and la confidential I was also thinking of running 3 female seeds "c99" and 2 or 3 reserva privada "og #18" at the same time. Anybody see a problem with this? what should I look for in strains that can be grown at the same time

Kushage from T H Seeds gets my vote. You are already familiar with the way kushes grow so you are ready for the best strain
I have found. Bushy plants with killer product and fast-finishing. If that's not enough, you will just about double your yield by
re-growing harvested plants. I am turning around KSG re-grows in 9 weeks from first harvest to second harvest. BONUS --
the KSG is the easiest variety to clone I have found. Buzzinga!

What is your opinion on growing 2 strains at once? Is it a problem? I'm sure you shouldn't grow plants that turn out ridiculously tall with plants that are usually short but would it be a problem if I grew say LA confidential and OG #18 from reserva privada at once?

my best answer: dont rush anything. go slow. its hard as a newbie. many types that are heavy producers, are not heavy hitters. and visa/versa. a plant that is easy for newbies is a good place to start. and most are not hard. try to go with a seed company that offers more than just your typical f-1 hybrids. i have found that hybrides are not as good, as the stable streins. maybe some northern lights #5. or a good skunk. seeds are a hassle, cause finding a good pheno can be hard. many times, i have found all ten seeds to be nothing noteworthy. finding someone with a nice, PROVEN clone is the way to go. but, not nearly as exciting. both of my keepers i got as cuttings. i traded one for the other! so now, they are bc godbud. now there are some good seeds. bc bud depot, i beleive. mine is dank weed. give it a shot. stays like 3 ft. ive gotten up to 3.5 oz per plant. this was under a 600, with 3 gal pots, and foxfarm nutes.

It's much easier to grow 1 strain at a time and here's why:

1. Each strain grows differently. Some are tall and some shorter, some are bushy and some are singular, some like a ton of lighting and some don't need as much, some are more resistant to heat and others not so. So, try to grow a uniform grouping so they all get an equal amount of light.

2. Some plants like a lot of fertilizer and others are more sensitive to it. If you use the same mix for all, some plants might burn and others will show deficiencies.

3. It's easier to concentrate on what's best for a strain by trial and error. Multiple strains compounds the learning process.
