help me dry some buds quick?

hey i was just looking through the new threads and i noticed your avatar. what is that bud???? it's amazing! there is another grower with that same strain on his avatar but i could never get him to reply. i asked around and i was told i was a jack ass. by further research i was told it could be a strawberry wreck? i checked a few seed banks and could not find anything for a strawberry wreck. would apprieciate it if you could help me out and let me know what it is. by the way have you ever grown anything that looks like that??

If you ran out of weed you should take one small cola and put the oven on a temperature lower than thc evaporates i think it is 280 but i'm not sure so look it up to be certain. And put it in there for 10 - 15 min maybe more but check it regularly when the outsides of the cola become crispy take them out. Let it cool for 30-40 min then VERY VERY gently so you dont break of the dry outside edges off, put it into a Mason jar sealed for 5-6 hour to redistribute some of the moisture from the center of the cola. You might have to repeat this a few times. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY TACTIC ONLY. This method will seriously degrade the quality of your weed so do as little as possible this way until the rest of your weed is dried and cured properly.

i always read the worst advice when someone wants to quick dry some bud to smoke, adn do you know why? because its a stupid idea to begin with
however to be constructive, ill say what i always tell people when they want to quick dry their buds
just toss a little stash in a cigar box and it will be smokeable by morning, abet a slight woody taste. dont mess around with the microwave and oven, high temperatures will rape your buds THC

I think there is a thread in the FAQ about this. At least that is where I think I got this info from.
What you need:
aluminum foil
toaster
wet buds
Place the foil on top of the toaster and create a slight indentation over one of the slots. Place the wet buds in the depression you have made with the foil. Make sure the foil covers at least one slot completely.
Turn the toaster on a very low setting...some have settings for "pastries" or "pop tarts" that work well. You want to heat up the toaster for about 15-30 seconds and let the residual heat slowly dry the buds. It will stay hot for a good 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, rotate the buds and warm the toaster up for another 10-20 seconds...it won't take much to heat it up the second time. Repeat this process until your buds are sufficiently dried.
I prefer this method to the oven or microwave because it preserves some of the trichomes. Putting it in an envelope on your ballast for an hour would probably do well too, though I've never tried that one.
Small buds dry faster than larger ones. Use some scissors and chop up large buds for faster drying.

bro, the microwave works but theres a certain way to do it, here's what you need.
adjustable heat microwave (power button)
1 tupperware with cover
4 paper towels
here's how ya do it,
place one paper towel folded on bottom of the tupperware, place you bud on that paper towel, wet and squeeze the other 3 paper towels cover the top with wet towels seal top with cover but only 3 sides leaving one cracked this will act a s a steamer.
set your power setting to 5 on your microwave continue this 4 times ensure you rewet the paper towels in between
one addtional minute power setting on 4 for a total of 5 minutes.
all the trics will stay in tact tatse still suffers ,I've tried it all and this seems to have work the best.

I absolutely prefer to cure for 30 days. But, if you want to test a product before harvest, pop a few small nugs off the bottom a few days in advance, place on foil tray, and forget about it for a few days.
By no means will it do the damage that a fully cured product would do, but you get the idea of taste and potency.

rubbermaid tub (with holes in the lid) $15
Duct booster $8
carbon sock (if you want it to be odorless) $40
and a screen to set the buds on. $ few bucks
Close it up and turn that bad boy on. You should have smokable buds in 2-3 days.

i think that would work better made of cardbord. and they want dry bud within 2-3 minutes not days

The more powerful the fan the faster it will dry but whether you use a cardboard box or rubbermaid tub it's still a fast approach to drying. Here's a link which has a video on their drying machine.
