Okay, I added limestone this time to my soil, just below the maximum recommended as far as I know..

Last grow I did in identical environment/soil did not have this problem, definitely not to this extent.

wtf.jpg

I don't have a PH meter, I did an entire grow without PH meter, figure I'd just flush if something looks wrong.

Been feeding it plain (bottled) water, no nutrients.
The soil has sphagnum, perlite, etc..

She is 10 days old. Strain is BlackJack

The stem is bending at the base will this be okay, or should I straighten it up with a tooth pick and string?

Temp is 77 fahrenheit that's 25 celcius... Last grow I had the temp go up to almost 100 and they didn't flinch really.. Except it did turn hermi in the end :D

Although I had a male or two in with it so could of been that as well..

But I don't think it's temp. Unless it doesn't like the light so close.. but with cfl.. do I really have a choice?
People say get it as close as you can without burning it.... But do you think that it still stresses it?

root bound perhaps..possibly just the plant..bad phenotype...try to use only water on it for a bit then let the soil dry out and see if it gets better

Can't be root bound its a HUGE pot and its 10 days old. But thanks for the advice,

Yep it's my plan to let it dry out for the next 3 days and see if it starts getting better

I guess it could be a bad "phenotype". Anyway I'll update in a few days

Or my other guess is maybe I overdid it on the dolomitic lime.

I know you don't think it's heat but my leaves did this the most when it was the hottest/they had the least amount of water. Just my .02

i would switch it to 18/6 or atleast 20/4, might not solve your problem but i bielive plants need rest. the only time i use 24/0 is for rooting clones and seedlings. hey and it is possible it could solve your problem
ya. its not that it's too hot in there but the water you're giving them is evaporating too quickly. Change to a cycle with some darkness and water them right before it goes dark.

I was planning on going 24/7 for 16 days then switch to 12/12

I'm @ day 10............ I guess it wouldn't hurt to go down to 20/4 and maybe go 18 days then switch to 12/12

also you could just switch to 20/4 now then in 5 days switch to 18/6 then in another 5 days switch to 12/12 this would give you lots of possible light and land you only 4 days after your original date you chose also it would give the plant a chance to adjust slightly to lower lighting and stress it less while also taking our advise into consideration

Thanks for the help, yeah I think I will take that advice. I don't want to stress her into becoming a hermi.

i found 24 on with CFL's close to the plant like they are suppose to be with reflectors really stressed my plant, ditched the reflectors switch the lights off 5 hours a day and they sprang back to health. it will grow a little taller too in the dark which can be good or bad depending on what you are trying to do.
