Help me keep my humidity at 30-40%.

Im only 2 weeks from flowering and need help getting my humidity down to 30-40%.

I know I know get a dehumidifier! but not enough room in the grow room andddd not enough funds yet.

I've be able to keep my humidity at 60% but would like it to be cut in half. I've heard of caluim chorlide or aka rock salt. but that only keeps it at 60%.

What do you use or have done to keep it down?

Believe it or not I have had success with kitty litter. If you go to a pet store, get the "crystal" brand and put a bowl of it next to your intake and around the plants. You can also use silica sand or gel which can be purchased at pet stores or online. It should retain any moisture in the air effectively dropping the relative humidity. I would also recommend puting a fan to circulate the air in your grow room so moisture doesnt sit. Hope this helps!

Keep moisture to a minimum... Your grow room should not contain any of your watering equipment (Watering bucket)

They got these things called damp rid. Theres 2 styles...1 looks like a clear bag on a clothes hanger. The other is just a small tub that you remove the lid and let it set there.
I have used the ones on hangers in my basement and holy crap do they work! Within a couple days the bags get pretty full of moisture that they have collected. Dont know if this helps but good luck!

yeah if u can take resy out of room - if not make sure lid is on tight

mylar aslo increases humidity id recommend replacing with white plastic sheeting

make your extractor fan suck air out at highest point poss - the moisture is highest in warm air

make ambient temp outside grow room / tent high as poss to avoid causeing condentation on inner walls of grow room

replace metal extractor pipe with a white plastic one - condensation issue again

make sure extractor and desk top fan going 24/7 - dont turn off during night cycle

oh and stop foliar feeding or keep to min - once per day an hour or so after lights on - when fruits appear u will stop anyway


and lastly if u are 2 weeks away from flowering arent they gonna get a bit too tall? how many nodes u got?
