You've been vegging some for one month and three weeks and you only have 6 inch plants? Are you training or pruning them? What type of light are you using for veg? Do you have pics of plants?

some might be genetics. I have a crop of 4 plants from bagseed, two got much larger than the other two with the same care. My 2 larger ones are around 20-24" tall and just starting to alternate nodes. The other two have yet to pass 10", aren't showing signs of maturity, and are a bit more bushy. Far as I can tell this is normal, and the larger two just matured a lot faster.

I have to admit that these are sounding a little small to me too. Yes, a part of that could be genetics, and you just got short plants, but it also sounds like maybe you have too small of pots for these plants to thrive.

They almost sound stifled to me and that's not going to help you out at all.

What sorts of nutes are you using? Advanced Nutrients are a great way to amp up the veg process when you've hit about the four week mark. Definitely check into them since I'm thinking your plants aren't getting the energy they need to grow up big and strong.

And they're not ready to flower, IMHO, at this point.
