In a paper towel in a nice toasty spot if they dont go in a week they are poop usually 24-48 hrs pop 3-4 days for slow starters.
help me out take a look

If you really get the temps up a seed can pop in 12-15 hours!

That can really vary and be dependent on a number of different factors. In my case most times beans will pop and begin to grow taproots in 12 to 24 hours though I have a few times had some beans take 5 days or more.
If beans do not pop fairly quickly you may want to take a nail file or some emery cloth or sandpaper and lightly scuff the outer surface of the beans.
Some beans outer covers are thicker and harder than others and some seem to be almost waterproof for some reason, as if they have a coating of oil on them, and by scuffing them you increase the chances for water penetration.
Of course you need to follow all the basic guidelines for germing beans if you want much success but that is just a little tip about slow popping beans.
In other words do not give up on them to fast and toss them. Sometimes some of them they just need a little time or a helping hand to be able to pop.

Thanx fer yer guys help, not tryin to hi-jack. I put 32-35 beans in jiffy pucks 2 nights a go. I did everything as I have every time. But fer some reason, not 1 has popped! I grew a lot of seed wen I was younger. I been doin this fer years. But I never had em take this long. I been keepin them warm as hell, doin it like I always have, and zilch so far!

25 just got tossed! I germed half in paper towel and half i just put in the expanded pucks. Not 1 popped i think the peat pucks must be killing them because i germ by accident in a coaster under a soda can and they grow ?? This is the first time i used peat pucks i hate them now i guess the ph is crazy in them??

SSDD I've had the same # die on me, though they've spouted then keeled over. Still can't figure wtf happened...I just got my latest from Attitude, but I'm scared shitless that they'll die again..I've got to figure out what went wrong....
