Help me pass my hair test..p.p.p.please!

If anyone has taken a hair follicle test I could really use your input...
When you went for the test what types of I.D. did they check? Drivers license etc..?
Did they clip the hair or did they give you scissors and you went into the bathroom and clipped it yourself?
How effective are those hair cleaning shampoos and or home methods?
I have a friend and we look pretty similar..any way he could go in there with my i.d. and get by? Anyway, any info except "dude, shave your whole body!@" would be awesome.

They dont take the "root" of your hair. That would mean they'd have to pluck 50-100 hairs out of your head..the hair is cut as close to the scalp as possible and your drug use only goes back as far as your hair is long. They look for a 3 month history, hair grows at about .5 inches a month so most places require your hair to be about 1.5 inches long.
I think my best chances would be to use a stand in but I dont know what kind of I.D. they require at the lab

I was actually considering that but if you were to part the hair and really look at it I think you'd be able to tell..I actually might check out a few wig shops tomorrow. Who knows though, maybe the people that sold their hair for the wig needed the money for their weed habit :joint:

they make products for masking hair tests... never tried it but my gf has some... its a shampoo

lol watch they'll go to pluck one and the whole wig will come off.

Really? My bad....they must have improved the test greatly since. Which isn't good news for you.

Maybe they will use the PUBIC test this time instead.... ouch

i have heard bleach then dye back to normal color not sure if that works id say ur best bet really is sending in your friend who looks like you those drug test places dont know the diff

Im in a forensic science class and we discussed this 2 weeks ago. No shampoo will work. The only options you have are #1- Shave every hair on your body..
#2- Bleach every hair on your body..

yes, that would work.. ur hair would prob. look fucked up if u do it urself though..

well, i gotta say im surprised, i didnt think it would be so simple to beat them(sure the options are kinda severe but still, i was thinking Nothing would work and they could read back alot farther than they can.l) My understanding of it was quite flawed i guess. lol

The length of your hair determines how far back they can look so while it's true that in some circumstances (like a criminal case or custody, etc..) if you have longer hair they can develope a longer timeline but for a pre employment test all things have to be equal and controlled. For example..if you're a girl and your hair is 3 feet long they'd cut off about 50-100 hairs (or an amount about as thick as a pencil) but when it got to the lab they would cut off only the most recent 1.5 inches and test that.
I was just wondering if anybody had any success with the special shampoos or any other methods.
