Is 4x CREE CXB3590 enough for a 4'x3' bloom closet?
How many would be too many CXB3590 for that space?

12 COBs is overkill
8 COBs = perfect

12 cxb run at 50w each will provide the best the cree can perform. Driving them harder gives you less not more. 12 cxb is just right with c1400b drivers

I agree with 8 cobs for 12sq/ft.. But you can put 20 in if you like.. Its all up to you.. If you want to run above 50w with less chips i would look at veros, or citizens..
The choices are endless...

Thanks!! Will using all 4000k COBs do the trick ? or should I mix it up ?

3500k is what I use


But 4k will work. I've used 6500-3200k kelvin

This was made for that exact 3'x4' space.

Very nice construction! How is it working? what cobs used ? do the heat sinks work passive or are the fans needed ?

12 cxb3590 at50w will provide excellent results
