Help me water please it's my first time

Ok.. so it is a HUGE pain in the ass to water my plants.. I have to draw a 5 gal bucket of water from a well that is 40 feet deep.. and then carry it a pretty good ways.. I was wondering how much water I can give my plants at a time.. there is rocks and holes at the bottom of the pots for pretty good drainage.. One container is 5 gal and the other container is about 9 ish gallons.. how many gallons of water (per container) should I give my plants?? and should I water every 3 days or once a week or what?? I know this question has been asked but i'm looking for a more personal answer..

You can give as much as you want as long as you let it dry out again before giving. And this aplies if drainage i good

I FORGOT TO MENTION I AM USING MIRACLE GROW POTTING SOIL!!! :-/ I know i know... but it's all i could get :-/

U will flush most of the nutrients away doing it that way.......

But seriously, the plant will tell you when its thirsty, let it dry out, then give it water, every 2nd time at least with plain water. Start with a low concentration of nutrients, then step up little by little.....
