Help ME What is this And How do i treat it

okay so had some problems with nute burn and it left my ladies in a stressful weak position.

I monitored the progress and got them back in line but it seems a visitor decided to make its new home on my headband.

Looks to me to be some sort of boaring insect but not sure

any help on what it might be and how to treat.ive been considering removing the entire branch or sealing the hole with vasaline...to try to suffacate the bastard

ive included a few pics, need to know asap its causeing my meds to dry out not whispy but drying and easily removable with just minut touch

Bud worm digging in your shit will kill that sight cut her off or it will get worse

Note: if you look at the nodes one seems to look as if it was cut it hasnt been this is one point where i noticed something wrong my bud fell off, just above that is a brown/red spot. it looks like a cut or groove. not a big hole but it seems to lead into the softer tissues.

Lime73 just cut it off? just below the node or way below...cant tell where the bastard is at. should i watch over it can they come back once removed, shes outdoors and luckly the only bug problem ive had this season, trying to keep it that way lol.

clean the cut with a clean razor, ya know cut below it and see what it looks like.

Success found the bastard. Cut just below it and peeled open, shouldve taken a pic and posted but i killed it thanks for the help ppeps
