Yeah , well i have never done this before and i got myself a humidity dome and tray when i was out. most pics are from when i cut them and theres really no change to them at all. i spray the inside of the dome and i keep a jar of water in there to try and help. its been around 50-75% sometimes reaching to 99; Any way to keep it steady? i cut three clones per plant ,. but the ones i think might be male. just guessing tho i have not cloned them yet, just assuming by size and look of plant compaired to all the rest.
should the rockwool be damp at all?
how often should i spay them, the dome and plants/.
when they droop is that good? thanks for the help any advise would be nice

I've read that Rockwoll should be keeped damp and as for the misting your clones and Dome , it should be done once every time the clones and dome is dry

Just a thought. Ever think about a bubble cloner. It works so nice. Very ez to build. Cost about $25.00. clones start rooting in 3-5 days ready to plant in 10-15 days.
Sorry never tried rockwool.

Try just dipping a corner of the cube letting it absorb the water, and what your using looks fine also.I use a humidifier and a heating pad, this will speed things up drastically. Also some strain are easy cloners and some are near impossible,My Blueberry can be cloned in 9 days, roots in 5 then another 4 and there ready for the tray.My AK47 takes 2 weeks....

Why on earth have you cloned plants that you havent even sexed yet? Let alone decided if they are worthy of cloning... Cloning is a means of keeping a strong genetic lineage alive not just a way of making sure you have some plants of some description at some time...lol:-?

In Mr. Green's video , he takes 3 clones of each his plant and flowers 1 to see if its a male or female. This also helps so that you don't have to waist that month or 2 to get it back to the veg state

Your supposed to clone them before they flower so they don't take a month to go back to veg state like BCTHC said, you take a clone or two of each plant, label it, then when you flower your plants you can pick the best looking females and use their clones straight away.

Thanks for all the replies, doing what i have heard and read. thinking of building a bubble cloner. i checked it out lastnight and i bet i have everything i need to do it now.

this is my 2nd grow and if i had done this before i wouldnt have had to start from seed again. , and yes im doing one to sex and then ill have two extra;s ill top the plants later when i reach my right height for them in my rooms. i still dont know what i should do in my flower room, how i should shape my plants for most yeild. guess thats another thread ill have to start.

this is just bag seed and its just so i can get better at it so when i spend money to get something good its not for nothing. if u can make skumk from bagseed u shouldnt have probs with something a lil more forgiving.? i havnt had too many problems with my grows, i need a real drain tray for my rooms, that would be two trays. i made something for now that dont have sitting water.

this morning half of them are looking very droopy, stems are leaning over and some its just the leaves. ill post pics later

thats kinda what Im doing. Im growing bagseed and took one clone off of 2 of my plants. One was only in flowering for 2 days when it spit out some hairs and the other is still vegging.

Mine is only for practice so I have a decent sucsess rate when I get some good seeds in the next week or so

Well its been awhile since i have been on here. i was upset since my last try of clones didnt live.
i dont know what i done wrong, temp was always in the high 70;s , sprayed missed lid twice three times aday. maybe i didnt keep the rockwool damp enough?
i want to build a cloner,
would it help if i get a heating pad?
anything else be done to speed things up, im going to be doing the tops of my plants this time. I have seven plants, and im still dont know sex yet,
i wanted them to be big, and well they are! ill have pics later tonight
