okay I have grow going the plan is to go from seed to harvest and build a grow cabinet for my next round so I can grow and clone while I flower. So I found this little cabint layin around and I gutted it. Than I went and got some 27 watt cfls for 3$ for a 2 pack at home depot.(I'm gonna go get more ASAP})I also got a mini greenhouse (4$)cuz the one I got is just a little too big...figures. I couldn't find the socket adapters so I had to go to lowes too but anyways cost me 10$. So basically this has cost me about 18-20$ so far and I think I'm almost done.
Here's some pics of it. I have never grown usin cfls so I'm a little newbie side here I guess. the surface area is a little less than 2 sq ft and the volume is about 4 cubic feet. I have seen peole just put the surge protectors in there and plug the lights right into that and that is what I'm planning to do. As you can see from the pics I could have one lamp in the middle and 2 lights on each side. The daylight CFLs are pushing 1750 lumens each. The smaller bulbs are a soft white and are pushing 900 lumens. So my question is should I run the three daylight colred bulbs and 2 soft colored bulbs or should I just get more daylight bulbs and add the extra lumens and all daylight colors?
Lastly, I'm planning on using the balack platic to cover up the front of the chamber. What kind of fan should I use for exhaust ? I have seen poeple using PC fans that looks simple enough but I went to ebay and the the plugs aren't like standard appliances..is their an adapter or how do I set these up? Thanks for your help
