ok i have to know i just read i need 6500k-5000k for vegging and 2700k for budding but my question is how many 6500k-5000k ones do i need for say 3 plants for vegging and then how many do i need for budding with the 2700k ones i need help.

how big is your grow room?

i personally am using 4 CFL lights in my setup. (2-26watt equiv 6500k & 2-26 watt equiv 2700k)

i have 2 small plants

my grow room is a whole attic but i can build something smaller if i need but are you using all four at the same time???and i wanna have like 3 plants should i just make it 6 lights??

youre gonna want a minimum of 60-80 watts of lighting per plant for decent results. check out the grow in my sig. use a ratio of 2:1 for each stage. vegging you will want 2 6500k bulbs to every 1 2700k bulb and for flowering you will want 2 2700k bulbs to every 1 6500k bulb.

I have 15 cfls on 2 plants. I think I have sufficient lighting for 3 plants. Try for something like 8-10 lights minimum for 3 plants. You won't need all 10 at the start, you can slowly add more and more as the plant grows.

I'm running 6 26w cfls on my rigg.. but that's for one.. and she loves it!.. next go around it will be them and a 200-300w added.. gl with your grow

Hi sorry to jump in on this thread, but i have a question..when your saying cfl's are you mean the low energy bulb that are used in the home (incandesant) if so ive seen 20w 1200 lumens 2700k in my local hardware store would these do for my autoflowering plants..
