Done with my online class, time to go be with family on this beautiful California day! Happy Easter everyone! Thanks to those who didn't judge and helped someone out who was just asking a simple question. Much love! Peace

I learned first hand that superthrive will burn your plants. Fair warning, stuff is strong. I thought the same thing and an experienced grower told me what my problem was. Ffof is some hot soil already. Filled with Nutes. I'm just a noob myself, but I have experienced the problem first hand with no other Nutes given to plants at all. Curled my chemdogs leaves and put yellow spots on it. Gave top of leaves a shiny metallic looking surface. Superthrive only at 4ml/gallon. I should have used a drop or two/ gallon. It's still growing though. good luck!

ingredients: .09% vitaminb, .04% 1-napthyl acetic acid ... right on bottle it states CONTAINS non-"plant-food" (equals non-fertilizer). sounds like you just used way too much. "for active development, or resisting stress: 1/4 teaspoon (1ml) per gallon. sounds like you just used way too much

Yes I did. I went in with the "it can't hurt" mentality. Lesson learned. Just a warning not to over do it like me bc it can hurt them. Happy smoking

I'm so sorry to laugh at the misfortune here. If you got a mom doing shit like this, your only hope is doing a guerilla grow. Or moving out to some other place. Start scouting for a good spot bro.

I went to the local Lowes and picked me up some superthrive....$11 a lil pricey I think but if it saves em ill be happy ...plus I could use it during veg.

I followed the directions on bottle and watered em when the top got a lil dry...ill update if and when I see some results. Thanks fir the heads up!

superthrive is not a fert so it wont burn your plants, just use it as directed on the bottle and you wont have any problems. using clear cups could be a bad thing, the roots need darkness, if you use clear cups cover them with something easily removable to keep light out.
I was making sure they knew it "could" burn it. Your second line is spot on. Go by directions! Dont be a dumbass like me. Also, about the roots needing dark, good to know. I'm learning a lot of good stuff on here. Thanks for that. Anyway, happy smoking

11$ isnt bad when treating at 1ml per gallon, so 120ml per bottle = 120 gal of treated water :P
and thank you smokeymcsmokerton you are right it CAN burn if over used.

I guess I missed his post. I've seen most people recommend only a drop or two of superthrive per gallon of water so their recommendation of 1ml per gallon is still high (which is expected from nute companies). 4ml per gallon is just crazy.

As for the clear cups/roots need dark thing, you can just put the clear cup into a darker party cup like this

Yeah bro fuck all those negative comments. I'm sure everyone here remembers those teenage days as a smoker worrying about our parents approval. I didn't really have to worry but I remember ol friends back in school telling me about how there bong was found or some shit. Anyways you should keep us updated.

ok first off clear cups arent that good for plants considering the roots need darkness, but its been done. and for your fox fam soil issue, its and organic soil with no added nutrients. you can add nutes on top of ocean forest soil, i am and it works fine

Pictures as promised fellars.

The first one is the seedling with half a cotyledon missing that was falling over yesterday. probably my worst seedling but getting stronger and standing straight the hell up!
The second one is my strongest plant with no damage or blemishes, was never too worried about her but she is looking mighty fine today! haha
The final picture was the "limp noodle" i described earlier. Not so limp anymore huh? she is looking dazzling today as well with the biggest set of true leaves out of the three.

Thanks for everyone that helped. My babies are doing good and needless to say, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUPERTHRIVE FOR SICK, DYING, OR STRESSED PLANTS! Im going to use it during veg as well to see how it goes too.
