lets get it out of the way and over with I know I'm an idiot, I had to learn the hard way and find out myself obviously. Snide comments are no longer required lol smh

Now, my PH has been on the rise lately and I had a bright idea to try just a little bit of vinegar, even though I knew better... Tsk tsk. well now 12 hours later I already have mother of vinegar floating in my reservoir (dwc). so I'm in the middle of draining it as I'm writing this, I'm going to scrub everything out and sterilize it and fill it back up but my concern is the roots, it seems to be stuck to the roots, obviously I can rinse it off

but does anybody suggest hydrogen peroxide or fungicide?

I have both our hands as I'm learning rather quickly what not to do in the world of DWC...

Thanks,

H2O2 for the win! You could also try to fight the Acetobacter with other bacteria Try to stay away from the fungicide - just my scruples.

Just wash it out. If you need pH down in DWC, use either nitric, phosphoric, or sulfuric acid based pH down.

Vinegar even in soil is dumb.
