HELP!! My first grow!!

Hi im currently using 125w CFL light, my medium is plagron royalty soil mix (iv already burnt a seedling with it so i let the soil that my new seedling is in sit for a week)
my ph of the soil is 6.8, and since i have transplanted into plagron mix i have not give it any rooting addities only water (ph 6.5) i have constant airflow in the space im using but this is a 3 week old seedling now and it seems to be taking forever..

Any advice would be great,, here is a picture of my seedling it is big bud feminised.

Are youa fan?He makes the thicker stems.

Otherwise, everything looks okay, give your time:)

The growth also depends strongly on the strain and genetics from.

put your light closer, about an inch away. When growing from seedling it takes time, depending on the type of light your using. A good rule that ive learned is to never go by the amount of weeks stated for the strain. Always go by what the plant tells you, and shes telling you to be patient friend :weed:

Looks good but for the time period you prob need more light would move it closer (maybe get CFL too boost the lumen s.)... I'm in about the same boat as yours... once the root system grows big apparently the growth gets quicker and quicker more solar panel leafs and bigger root system to feed more growth picks up.i get impatient also 15 year smoker and I'm just going with out also light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks everyone, im only growing one at a time i dont want to rush into things and end up them all failing.. would a CFL not do for the whole cycle im planning on getting the flowering bulb in a week or 2 (red 2700k)?? also i bought some ROOTIT only cheap gear but would that harm the plant if i add a little bit in the water cause i know this soil provides everything it needs. and yes i have two battery powered fans at the side of the seedling (not facing directly on the seedling).

I appreciate all your help by the way :) much respect!

im sorry no i dont have the bag the soil im using is plagron royalty mix its says it has enough nutrients in it for the full cycle, as i mentioned before i put a germinated seed straight into it and after a few days it burnt and nothing came of it, so i did a bit research and found out that its very high in nutes so was best to let the soil sit in the pot for a week before putting the seedling in it but im still unsure wether to add a rooting hormone to give it a little boost, im all new to this lol

so its fancy Miracle Grow. your seedlings are stunted from it. no rooting hormone is needed. get the lights closer and don't over water. water releases more nutes.

That's fine but I liked the idea of starting with 3 little plants. Splits the risk, so if one dies for a freaky reason, the others will be fine.

Yes CFL is fine for the whole grow and yes use the 2700k for flowering.

Two most common mistakes a beginner will make is over watering and over fertilising. At this early stage of the plants life, plus early in your experience, just give the plant patients only and see how she goes. If there is nutrients in the soil, then you will most probably over fertilise it by adding extra stuff. Wait till the plant is older and more resilient before trying more nutes.

Good luck and good work so far.
Patience is a virtue! Leave ya plants alone and do another hobby in the meantime. :bigjoint:
