I just went to check on my babies and apparently my light had been off for approx 1-2 hours during the "day" cycle of flowering.

The light turns on at 8pm and off at 8am, I'm on the 5th day of 12/12 will this be a problem these 1-2 hours of dark??

Should I keep the light on for a extra 1-2 hours today or just continue with the 12/12 cycle?

Thanks a lot!!! + Rep:weed:

no keep your norml schedule. meaning turn your lights off at 8. If you lose light hours it ok. You just didn't feed it any light "food" for 1 or 2 hours. Its the dark that matters. Never fuck up the dark cycle. The dark cycle is what makes the sexing hormone work. Light kills this hormone and the plants needs 12 hours of this hormone to bud hence the 12 hour dark period. It was just a very dark cloudy period in the day to the plants no harm done.

Yes i agree nothing bad, lets say if the lights turned ON in the DARK period then there would be more reason for concern, It may show a little light stress with a few circular growing leaves but i doubt it. But not more at all and i dont think it would have stunted the growth at all. Keep it up and just make sure nothing interferes when they sleep! dont even check on them, thats where lots of people get there bananas on Femd seeds. PEACE

Thanks! These plants were from mother plants given to me as clones so that's always a bonus! Check them out in my journal, I'll update photos this weekend.

I've also been told a green light is ok to use if you HAVE to, but I agree and just like my self I HATE to be woken up or disturbed while I'm sleeping hahaha!bongsmilie

yeah you can use green lights but whats the point if the lights turn on at eight in the morning then you have all day to look and admire your plants just leave all the sight seeing for the day peroid of your light cycle

Whoops I think I typo'd, Lights come on at 8PM and off at 8AM, Sometimes laundry day is where the green light comes into use, but I generally try to wait for lights on to do it.
